The Marui bakery eggtarts have been found!! Confirmed by this wonderful bakery, the Marui owner passed on their famous egg tart recipe before retirement. Heaven still exists!! Everything else in this awesome bakery also looks phenomenal. So grateful to have stumbled upon this new little spot. Very clean - a must visit! Thank you Jin Mai : )

Fresh bun from the cooling rack prior packing, still warm when you visiting at the right time👍. Delicious fresh egg tart keep warm in the warmer, crispy/fluffy tart shell👍. Yummy😋😋😋

Smells fantastic when you walk in: you know you're gonna have some great food. Got there mid morning on a Saturday, and there was a lot to choose from.

Recommend the egg tarts: custard is just done, so soft and lightly sweet, with super flaky pastry: wear a napkin when you eat one!

And the custard bun: milky soft bread, and perfect cream custard filling. So good!

Theres an opening special: all store is 20% off until Oct 14.

Pro tip: bring a bag to take home all your goodies! They take cash and debit.

This new bakery is truly a gem! Great quality at affordable prices, and their egg tarts are especially delicious—crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, perfectly sweet without being too heavy. Definitely worth a try! highly recommend！

I've been very excited about having a new independent bakery in the neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised.

The baked goods are what you would typically find in a Chinese-style bakery, including an assortment of pineapple, bbq, cheese weiner and red bean buns to name a few. They were all less than $3 each, which is something hard to beat. I left the store with 6 fresh buns, each with it's own unique filling and flavor profile that did not disappoint. Ultimately, the ham and egg cheese bun is now a newfound favorite of mine (considering how soft and tender the egg was inside).

I should note that like many Chinese-style bakeries, there is no GST added if you buy 6 or more buns. They are also currently having a grand-opening sale where everything is 20% off now until Oct14.

TLDR: A small local bakery offering a variety of delicious baked goods for less than $3 each. Highly recommend!

Found a Jewel Asian Bakery! ( flaky, soft, moist custard egg tarts ( $1.79 each ), Snowy BBQ Baked Buns ( butter crust similar to butter pineapple ) topper but its white. Its amazing delicious. The 3 pc Almond Cookies ( packed ) for $2.95 is amazing ( real chopped up almond pieces inside the cookies ). Fresh, crunchy and great taste. Will be back for more. End up getting a pack of 4 egg tarts. Great services, C/C is acccepted! 7 days week including holidays. Jewel Bakery in the hood area across from T&T bakery!

I didn't know what was the hype with Jin Mai Bakery, but after reading up about it I found out they make famous egg tarts. Apparently, the previous owner passed on the recipe for Marui bakery eggtarts. It's made fresh everyday and I went in to grab a few first thing at 10am. Just absolutely creamy and delicious. The flakey crust is light and heavenly. I tried a few of their other items such as the sausage bun and matcha loaf, which gets a thumbs up as well.
