We originally planned to eat at another restaurant in the area, but it was closed for renovations. So we ended up here.

Honestly, the food was pretty underwhelming. Everything tasted bland, like it was made for people who think ketchup is spicy. It felt like an overly safe, watered-down version of Indian cuisine, stripped of the depth and boldness that makes the food so special.

If you’ve had real Indian food, or even just flavourful Indian takeout, you’ll likely be disappointed. It seemed more catered toward folks who aren’t familiar with Indian spices and prefer things extremely mild.

Staff were fine and the place was clean, but nothing about the meal stood out in a good way. Just meh all around.

Excellent food and service, the naan was crispy chewy and light - perfect! First time we had a basmati rice side that had a (cardamon) spice flavouring - food love and attention to detail. Lamb korma was tender and delicious and eggplant the perfect spice - we will be back !

Best Indian Food in Duncan! We have been coming here weekly and for many reasons…

1- the flavours of their foods are amazing, they have a variety with different protein sources and also will customize to your spice level preference.

2- the staff! The servers are so kind and always smiling. Very polite and always making sure everything is great and really good at answering our questions about some unknown meals for us!

3- the cook! Meals always on point … from the flavour to the spice level and sure gets the meals out fast!!

Overall experience is amazing, oh and can’t forget to mention the cleanliness… mostly the washrooms… always sparkling clean!

My favourite is the chili chicken and hubby loves to change it up often but his number one is the palak chicken … and of course you gotta have their garlic naans with it!!

Food and service here is impressive. It is definitely a value to your money, as it serves big portions, and filling to your tummies. Vegetable Pakoras & Goat Biryani are winners. Also, try their Masala Chai tea! Golden all in all. Thank you Kamya for a good service as well.

Had the buffet which was fantastic. Everything was fresh. Nothing was greasy.
The service staff was awesome. Really pleasant and attentive. Definitely going back. Will drive down the island for this food again. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The two best restaurants in Duncan are both Indian restaurants at the moment. Delicious, reasonably priced and about 300 m from one another. Good service, clean, nice decor, and excellent tasty food. Good selection of vegetarian and Savory meats. Menu lists gluten free and some dairy free options. Three spice levels. Our most recent visit we found the food less salty which was good because we could appreciate the flavour better.

Many folks may not really know the difference from 'Indian foods'

I've recently been treated with AMAZING Northern Indian foods/recipes from a family I am working with... and have been telling my hubs, 'there's a huge difference' in Southern Indian, and Northern Indian... today we went for lunch, I commented that the flavours tasted just like my friends mothers food. I asked today, which region these recipes were based on?... NORTHERN Indian she replied... my hubs said, I 'Nailed it'...

The reason this restaurant is the best is 100% due to the amazing flavours.

We had Vegi samosas & Pakoras Amazing tasty. Entire crew was so good & especially the owner’s whole family were so friendly and welcoming. They have shown us there so widespread 🤩 buffet - we missed it this time. Another great reason to visit again 🙌🤗
