Awesome staff • personable & down to earth • get a bit of the salt spring vibe with the owners not always being around? They were accommodating & forgiving of the scratch my husband made on the headlight.

Fair price & willingly gave us a deal. • 7 hour rental is a good way to spend the day zooming around the Island going to all the “must see” locations. Scooters are in good condition, simple to operate, comfortable to ride on a hot day & make it up to 65km/h going downhill & only 50km/h going uphill. (For a 140lb person) My husband is 190lb and he maxed out at 60, not much slower but weight makes a difference.

Felt bad for the traffic behind us so we would pull over & let them pass.

Salt Spring car & Rukus rentals are reasonably price have quality rentals and super friendly knowledgeable staff Megan made us feel we mattered ...even at peak season and a crazy busy weekend .. our island experience mattered to her .. and she was right the scooters are the PERFECT way to tour the island .. we did 6 hours and will definitely be doing the full 24 hours next time .. my hunny was a little skeptical that maybe they wouldn’t be “fun” enough . I think his smile in the picture I posted says it all . Thank SS Car Rental and Staff you made a great weekend that much better

My friends and I did a day rental of some scooters for an island adventure. It was a great way to explore and see the sights on the island. Super fun! Great service too! I forgot my go pro attachment on the handlebars of my scooter and when I contacted them they mailed it out with no issues at all. Definitely check them out if you make a trip to Salt Spring Island.

We had the best time on Salt Spring due to this company’s ingenuity and accommodating, awesome staff. After another scooter company cancelled on us last minute this company’s owner was able to help last minute. Thank you so much, we had a blast! Highly recommended.

Worst car rental experience ever. Booked the car 10 days prior to our visit. Still they didn't have our reservation on system. The excuse was "we forgot to put it in the system and it remained on the notepad". They even note down the payment details including your card details on a notepad, hence your payment is not secured at all as anyone can snoop upon that notepad.
Then they gave us very old car obvisouly different type of what was booked initially. Car was making noise from the tie-rods and was at a verge of being broken anytime. Despite all these there was no discount offered and over charged on the reservation.

The staff there were friendly, supportive and welcoming. They helped pick us up and informed us about our ferry time and schedule. The vehicle we rented was in good condition and had a great time traveling around the place. Would rent here again!
