Un des pires Fish and Chips que j'ai pu testé au Canada. Plus de pâte que de poisson : poisson fort. Etat general du pub plutôt moyen : vue agréable.

Wonderful service (the lady with the short blonde hair was lovely) and the BEST crispy chicken burger we’ve ever had… caramelized onions, mushrooms, and havarti gave it lots of flavour!
The cod fish & chips were fabulous too - fish was fresh (pieces were a tad small for the price though), fries were super crispy, and plenty of dipping sauce and delicious salads on the side.
Would certainly return - great vibes 🙂

The service at Gus’s Pub is top-notch—seriously, 5 stars to the hardworking ladies running the floor. They’re attentive, friendly, and really keep the place moving. Unfortunately, that’s where the high points end.

The cocktails? Meh. Nothing really tasted the way it should. Same story with the food. It all felt like someone tried a few dishes 30 years ago, then attempted to recreate them from memory and explain them to someone else who’s never cooked before.

Expectations will not be met here. Caesar salad came with bacon, sure, but was a soggy letdown. The “crab dip” was mostly sour cream with crab sticks pretending to be the real thing. You get the idea.

If you go, stick to their beer—it’s solid. And maybe grab a chicken sandwich. It won’t blow your mind, but at least it’ll be passable.

Ein Pub Ambiente wie wir es lieben, einfach, rustikal, freundlich und lecker. Wir waren gerade nach langer Fahrt angekommen, da war ein kühles Bier genau das richtige. Und aufmerksame Gesellschaft hat man auf der Terrasse draußen sicher 😆👌🏻aber es war super lecker und der Service war klasse! Wir kommen gern wieder!

The food was great and our server was so sweet and really on top of everything!

We shared the hot wings, I had the taco salad and my friend had the halibut and chips. All were very delicious and great portions.

Don't listen to the bad reviews about the food here. It was better than any other place we ate at in town. If you want great pub food, come here and eat!

This is a normal bar/restaurant. Not high end at all but nothing wrong with that. We had a great diner with a nice view of the bay.

A beer and a burger is close to $40. Everything is fairly well done. The fish is rarely local caught except the halibut. A better selection and better service here than most places. The tourist rhythm is a little uneven so often popular not on a weekend as well. I have been in and out of here in less than an hour as well as in 3 hours. They used to not take reservations but in 2025 they took reso's.
