Pleasantly surprised by these cute little cabins. The room we had, had nice leather couches and a separate bedroom (with a queen bed) that led to the bathroom. I could close the bedroom door in the morning and watch tv waiting for hubby to wake up. Bonus! I'd stay there again.

This is a quaint little place. And by little, I mean there are 4 rooms! We really liked that the room was like a mini apartment. The bedroom was separated from the living and kitchen areas. I hope this makes sense - the room was clean in terms of clean sheets/bedding and bathroom and floors, but there was some dusting that was clearly not happening on a regular basis. Also, I'd recommend that they install a curtain on the bedroom door in case privacy is desired in the bedroom. We also didn't find a time when the office was actually open. Both times we went to the office to meet the owner/operator, it was closed. I understand that this is a 'mom and pop' operation and those people need personal time, but we just didn't seem to find a way to connect. Regardless, I would recommend this cute little place to a friend.

The price, proximity to Harrison Hot Springs, and dog-friendliness was what initially attracted me to this quaint little place. The peacefulness of the rural location, the comfort and cleanliness will definitely have me returning. I was in Unit 3, which featured a living area/kitchenette and separate bedroom and bathroom. The owner is an artist and her colour sensibility shows in the eclectic decor. The laminate floors were great for the dogs, and I enjoyed the marble floor tiles and subway tiles on the wall in the ensuite. The double bed was comfortable, with blue cotton sheets, complimenting the soft sage green on the walls. The kitchenette, with fridge, 2-burner hotplate, microwave, kettle and coffee maker was more than adequate for my simple needs for 1 night. While the unit came supplied with coffee and tea, I had to bring my own milk and sugar. I didn't use the free wi-fi, but it is available. The dated but functional tv has the requisite 500 channels.

Clean but pillows lumpy, beds were old, make a lot of noise when you move around. Host was not very responsive. No shampoo or cream rinse.

Woodside Inn, is a unique 4 room Inn. This a nice out of the way place. I would say the rooms are a bit small, but very nicely decorated and a quiet place to rest. The other rooms were occupied, but you never heard them.||A day before arriving Dehlia, the owner, sent an email request that we call her about an hour before we arrive at the Inn. As she doesn’t reside there.||First problem: When we arrived there was a price difference, as there were three of us, two adults and one child. When booking and filling out the online forms, which I have done hundreds of times before, I marked two adults and an 8 year old child. We were quoted $369.51 by hotel.com. She charged us $403.41, as she said she charges extra for the Rollaway, which costs an extra $33.90 for three night stay. Since we were tired from our two day drive and tense because of the funeral we were coming for the next day, I paid the difference. ||Second problem: When checking in she took us to our room. She showed more concern about showing us how the door locks work, as if we were dummies, never telling us we don’t get daily maid service. And to our disappointment next day after getting back from the funeral, we found that housekeeping had not come. My wife called her that night at 8:30pm. Dehlia said they do not provide daily service. And they only give fresh towels on request. Except we had already thrown all the dirty towels on the floor and certainly weren’t going to use them again. We told her we also had garbage overflowing and had no idea we were supposed to look after that too. We didn’t see any garbage bins to dump it in outside. She said there was a dumpster behind the greenhouse.||| All this would have been nice to know beforehand instead of how to work the simple door lock!!! The next morning as we were heading out for a day trip . She came to do our room . She tried to explain with an excuse that she doesn’t offer daily maid service to keep the lower rates and that most people that check in want their privacy. She also said she should put up post up sign saying so. As for the price I could gotten a place in Chilliwack with two queen bed for $89.00 a night with fridge and microwave. Her kitchenette had no microwave. ||This is a nice quiet little place with proper information and correct pricing it would have been great place to stay for us . This is a good place for a family of two adults and child the most but not any larger. It is better for a couples retreat for a weekend . ||No liquor or beer store, restaurant is closed and the Motel and restaurant is for sale.

very enjoyable experience at a good price. rented 2 room for 3 nights (wife, 2 year old and myself in 1 room and inlaws in room next to ours).

2 apple trees in the front and herb/veggie garden behind the guest houses a huge hit for my little one. Lots of privacy. Clean, well maintained living dwellings. The wilderness scenery and abundance of stars at night were truly sublime.

Only negative factors were 1 of our bathroom sinks was clogged and there was no alarm clocks for checking the time or waking up.

If you are looking for a quiet, rustic place to get away with the family for a reasonable price, then I highly recommend this place.

Woodside Inn on Mount Woodside is one of the best affordable Motels in Harrison Mills. Each private suite is self contained with it's own separate entrance & parking, kitchenette, livingroom, bedroom, full tub & shower ensuite bathroom, free WiFi and Satellite TV.

Pet friendly as well!

We spent two days in this inn. The staff were very friendly & helpful. . It was a short drive to Harrison. The room is comfortable and there is everything you need. There are only 4 units. You can sit outside and watch the hangliders jump off the mountain.It is also dog friendly.Lovely surrounded with trees full of singing birds.We will be back.
