Cute, quiet, tiny home type cabins. Everything was clean, updated, and well stocked. Naomi was the best. She was kind, friendly, and welcoming. She gave us many recommendations around the area. We really enjoyed our brief stay here. It’s the perfect place to spend some time in between the coast… The area is very beautiful.

Chims cabins are well located and easy to find. Our cabin was very spacious, spotless and quiet. Mini kitchen was very useful and Naomi very kindly provided knives and chopping board for us. Bring your own cutlery! Excellent shower and a very comfortable bed. Our outdoor seating area was small but new deck area is on the cards soon. |Naomi was so welcoming and friendly, giving us very useful advice about our onward journey to Tofino, |Very happy with all that was offered.

I appreciated the fresh, modern feel of the cabin. The kitchen was equipped with a full size fridge, apron sink, and an expansive counter for me to spread out my work. The location was near the highway but the unit was well insulated and the traffic was not a distraction (I had been worried about this, but it was good). I enjoyed a private patio space and designated parking right at the cabin. This was just the spot for me to be near town and yet enjoy a rural feel in the wooded surrounds - a great little sanctuary after work!

Our unit was spotless and every convenience provided. The owners clearly care about their guests’s experience. Very high pride of ownership. I would stay here again. In addition to the well- designed indoor spaces there was a private deck with chairs and table to enjoy the morning sun.

They took awesome care of us! Things were nice and clean, they’re on top of it for sure! Comfy beds, the bear guest house has a nice kitchen and tub with in suite laundry! It is a little out of town if you don’t have a car so that could be tough for others but I like the secludedness! It’s right by the highway but I also never heard it while sleeping or any issues. Lovely local care takers. I would go back for sure!!!

My adorable CLEAN cabin/tiny home was surprisingly spacious, with a very comfy sectional couch, huge fridge, and a gorgeous covered porch. Heat pumps kept my place cozy. Parking spot right beside the porch made unloading and loading my things so easy. Would definitely stay here again!

I placed a crew of 12 comfortably up at Chims for 6 weeks this Spring. Naomi and Ed were more than accommodating and made sure my crew felt comfortable and respected. 10/10 would stay here again.

Today, both tires on my boat trailer blew out, and the only safe place I could pull over was right in front of Chim’s Motel. Within seconds, the owner storms out like I’ve personally offended her, points at the flat tire like I didn’t already know, and immediately starts going off—zero concern, zero compassion.

Instead of offering even a shred of decency or understanding, she demands we leave 😀 with two completely flat tires.
No, “Are you okay?” No, “Need help?” Just straight-up hostility and a complete lack of humanity.

We had no choice but to drive away on rims, risking even more damage, all because this lady couldn’t handle someone pulling over in front of his building during an emergency.

I cannot express how appalling and heartless this was. So if you’re ever in trouble near Chim’s Motel—don’t expect kindness. You won’t find it there.

Absolutely NOT friendly. NOT helpful. And definitely NOT the kind of place anyone should support.
