What an amazing little, clean historic hotel. The room was so clean, and stocked with everything you need. Check in was great and super friendly. The pub has great food and the service again, can’t say how great it was.

I had to cancel at this hotel due to a family emergency and contacted the front desk. They assured me they could accommodate me and we’re very helpful. Later, I came to understand that they processed the entire charge anyways and would not converse with me in any previous conversations. They charge me for the entire stay, and not just one night. Furthermore, they denied any conversation conversations as it related to my refund or my emergency circumstance.

I never checked in. I never authorize payment. They acted in bad faith and I couldn’t get a consistent response from anyone. If you didn’t know this hotel was a complete dive to begin with – let me assure you it is. Not just it’s physical appearance for the sketchy behavior of its administrative staff.

I’m guessing they do not belong to the Better Business Bureau. Stay away if possible.

What else is better then to have a great meal and ur fave beers on tap and cocktails out for date night! No worry for a cab u can get a room. And there spectacular for the history of the place! U Also get 10% in the pub for staying!

We stayed two nights there in Aug 2024.
Negative:
Hotel charged us $25 plus tax for late check-in. Very unusual and frustrating.
There was no sofa, chair or coffee table in our room. Just the bed. Lower quality than most cheat motels.
Expensive for what you get
Positive:
The room were clean.
Staff were nice, but no control on hotel policies.
Conclusion:
We will not return.
