Captain Lonnie was absolutely fantastic! He took us on an unforgettable salmon fishing trip—knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. We felt safe, had a ton of fun, and came home with some great catches. Highly recommend booking with him!

We went on an awesome fishing trip with Captain Lonnie. There were four of us and we all had a great time! We caught lots of Coho and a couple Chinook. Most of the Coho were wild so we couldn’t keep them but they were great fun to catch! Captain Lonnie was great! He is a younger guy but has lots of experience and really knows his stuff! He was very attentive and ensured that we all had a super time. At one point there was an equipment issue which he quickly rectified. He gave us a little extra time to make up for the lost time which we really appreciated!
All in all it was just great! I would definitely recommend Unreel Fishing Charters and especially recommend Captain Lonnie!

What a fun fishing and sight seeing trip. We loved the enthusiasm of our captain Lonni. His professionalism and attentiveness made the trip so easy going. Lonni’s knowledge of where to go for the best action was a perfect introduction for the half of our party who had never gone fishing before. The amount of strikes we were getting on our lines were amazing. The most important part? We got fish to take home! We’d definitely hire Unreel Charters the next time we visit!

Great morning out on the water with Lonnie, the boys felt comfortable, we hooked up 24 times , released the wild ones and came back with a great catch. Lonnie was excellent and worked hard to put us in the fish, highly recommended

A couple buddies and I found ourselves with a few days to spare on a business trip, so last minute we luckily booked a charter with Lonnie. We all had a good time with each other and with Lonnie as our captain, and even got ourselves a couple good fish. Made some good memories and highly recommend this charter

We had a fantastic day out on the water and caught plenty of fish. Our guide was excellent. He was professional, friendly, and clearly dedicated to giving us the best experience possible. He worked hard the entire time and made everything fun, safe, and enjoyable. He also gave us great recommendations for things to do in Parksville, including an excellent beer suggestion that hit the spot after a day on the water.
