Love the folx at Maxxam. I had the pleasure of working With Maddy B, here in Nanaimo, today. I am a pretty typical scattered ADHDer and had some things I didn't understand and papers I know are important... but why, I wasn't sure... Maddy was amazing, explained everything so I understood and got me back to a reasonable rate and organized!

I was with Maxxam until I got my new car and didn't realize it had switched to a different broker. Never again..

I'll be sticking with Maxxam as long as I have a vehicle.

The woman who assisted me was fantastic. I had a challenging vehicle to insure—it was a commercial vehicle from out of province—but she handled everything promptly. She was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the process.

We had to stop in here to fix an auto insurance error from another company. We dealt with Heather and she was fantastic. She went above and beyond to ensure our mistake was fixed and that we got an excellent rate. And all in less than 15 minutes! We don’t live in Nanaimo, but if we did, Heather would be our go-to for all insurance needs.

I went in to renew my insurance with them today, as I had heard good things. The lady at the front desk was very smiley, however, the insurance agent that I use didn’t give me a smile or ask how I was doing….or really even give me the time of day. After she waved at the front desk woman that she could help me, I had to wait while she finished up on her cel phone before she addressed me. It was like she did not want to be there, I feel like they could use a few lessons in customer service. I guess I could say at least the service was fast. I also had a stroller and they watched as I struggled to get in the door, and I had to ask for assistance on my way out. I am unsure if it is a building manager or the company itself that owns this unit, but I would strongly suggest getting a handicap button for the door, how someone in a wheelchair would get in is beyond me.
