For me as a solo lady traveller this was the perfect way to explore the Canadian Rockies which had long been on my bucket list. Brad our very charming tour director was extremely knowledgeable about this majestic country and entertained us with wonderful stories about growing up in the area, the wildlife and even had stories about the individual mountains, not to mention all the stunning rivers, lakes and glaciers. I really learnt a lot about the Rockies and Canada in general. Mark was our driver. And a nicer, kinder person it would be hard to meet anywhere. He was an excellent, steady and very safe driver. The bus was always very clean and comfortable. The hotel accommodations were excellent and well chosen. My corner-room in Banff was almost like a suite with a huge marble bathroom! I travel a lot world wide and this particular journey will truly stand out as one of the best experiences ever - anywhere! Just know that the tour covers a lot of territory and runs to a strict timetable and could therefore be quite tiring for older folks like myself - so for me the 4 days was just perfect. It was amazing. Only the ride back from Banff to Vancouver was long (1000 Km).
The next time I would choice to take the aeroplane back from Calgary.

My wife and I recently took the four day Circle West Coach Tour through the Rockies and enjoyed this thoroughly. The organisation was flawless from initial booking process to the tour itself. Tour Director Jeff provided an educational and interesting commentary throughout and was happy to assist with any request. There was a lot of distance to cover but driver David took it in his stride and remained calm throughout so we always felt safe in his hands. We opted for the standard accommodation option which was more than satisfactory. The breakfasts at all hotels were excellent and a great start to the days activities. There were so many experiences that it's hard to choose a favourite but the Columbia Ice fields glacier excursion and Sulphur Mountain gondola and boardwalk are a must do.

I have no hesitation recommending Key West Tours to anyone looking to do tour of the Rockies and would use them again if we ever get the chance to come back to Canada.

Thanks Key West, Jeff and David for making our visit to Canada so much more memorable.

We were a family of 4 from Australia who embarked on a 4D 3N coach tour of the Rockies called Circle West. This tour left Vancouver in August for Kelowna for 1N and Banff for 2N and then back to Vancouver. The original Circle West tour was scheduled to take us to Jasper but the wildfires unfortunately burnt part of Jasper closing it during the tour. So Kelowna was a last minute replacement which wasn't too bad but the wine tour there didn't suit our taste as we all were not interested in wines. The tour starts off at 8.30am from downtown Vancouver. Our coach driver Andrew and tour guide Joan made a dynamic duo taking us to beautiful places that were just eye candy. Andrew was efficient and steady as a driver and made up time on the road even though we were held up for 30-60 mins by a bad traffic accident and road works. Joan was friendly and her service exceeded beyond the call of duty. She saw to everyone's needs which made the tour so much more pleasant with everyone on board cooperating to run the tour like clockwork. The distances travelled were long but there were plenty of short stops for the restroom and food. The coach was comfortable and big. Our tour had 20 odd participants comprising mainly of Aussies, Kiwis with a sprinkling of people from Singapore, England and even a couple from Mauritius. The coach was spacious and could easily take double the number. Although there was a toilet on board, it was cramped, with no water/sink to wash hands and a door that can easily swing open while you do your business! We were warned to use it only in dire emergency as there were many a stop for relief. Many lunches were eaten on board as we didn't have time to stop for a longer seated lunch. Andrew stopped at "gourmet" outlets allowing us to get coffee/drinks from Starbucks or Tim Hortons, snacks from MacD, A&W, burger joints and even some shops selling takeaways. The tour was packed with picturesque stops for plenty of photo opportunities so make sure you have a good camera on hand. The hotels were nice even though most on the tour chose the basic option rather than premium hotels. We stayed at Banff Aspen Lodge which had 2 twin beds which could easily take a family of 4 with space to spare. Everyday was packed with activities from 8 am till 7 pm. From an early breakfast at the hotel to free and easy lunches and dinners you will be constantly on the go. Most of us went for the optional activities of the Sulphur mountain gondola and Icefield Explorer which were both worthwhile. Make sure to bring along an empty water bottle to collect fresh glacial water when you go up the Icefield. Legend has it that drinking the crystal clear glacial water will give you a youthful glow enhanced by doing a glacial facial mask!
All in all a wonderful experience soaking in the beautiful scenery of the mountains, bountiful lakes, tall trees. One downside was we didn't get to see much wildlife but guess they didn't want to see us either. Kudos to Keywest, Joan and Andrew for giving us a memorable trip of a lifetime to the Rockies.

The 4 day CIrcle West Tour was a fabulous tour filled with lots of sightseeing. The first and last days are long days of driving, but plenty of scenic stops to break up the drive. Our tour guide Brad was terrific. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and helpful. Our driver Neil was was also great and helpful. Thanks for a memorable and enjoyable tour, Key West.

The four-day Canadian Rockies Tour exceeded our expectations! Brad was an excellent tour guide who spaced our stops perfectly and showed us many wonderful sites on our way to Banff. We have done other bus tours, but this was, by far, the best! Thank you for such an amazing experience!
