I would strongly advise against banking with Envision Financial based on my recent experiences. This institution stands out for its exceptionally poor service reliability and customer support.

They have experienced severe service outages that prevent customers from accessing or using their funds, a critical failure for any modern bank.

What's particularly concerning is the management's apparent lack of awareness about these issues. If you actually manage to receive a response to a complaint, they claim ignorance of service outages, suggesting that no one informed them. This makes no sense. Automated server monitoring and notification systems have been standard in the banking industry for decades. Adding insult to injury, when customers report problems, management insinuates that insufficient funds are to blame, rather than acknowledging system failures.

Their digital infrastructure is incredibly substandard, with both their mobile app and website frequently displaying incorrect account balances. It's like playing financial roulette every time you log in.

The responses from the assistant manager of the Chilliwack City branch exemplify the bank's inadequate handling of these issues:
"We are wondering if the issue with the bank card not working on June 17 was that the balance was under what you were trying to pay for?"

"our Mobile app has been updated in the last year and some members who are using the old app would experience some issues. Maybe delete the app and search the app store to ensure you are using the correct and most current app."

"We do not always know when a system outage happens as it can be only for a short time and restored before we are notified."

Bottom line: if you're looking for a bank that actually works and treats you like a human being, steer clear of Envision Financial. They're about as reliable as a chocolate teapot.

Would not recommend this bank. Went to get coins, that part went okay, although I was asked if I had a different $5 bill as it was taped together. As I was leaving I asked if I could enter to win and how to do so as there was an opportunity to enter to win a gift basket; the person who helped me was going to give me a slip to fill out but then a different employee interupted and took over the situation asking me if I banked here and for my account number which I had already told the person who helped me. He told me there is no minimum, as there was an opportunity to donate to the cause. Then he asked me how much I wanted to give and I said, "nothing" then he let me know you have to pay. So I said, "Then I don't want to do it" and walked away.
Also I don't support what they support, the LGBTQ movement.
I saw an envision tent set up at a pride festival... Very disappointed with that!
They changed their terms of service so that you can get charged for using your chequing account too often whether that be using your debit card or doing e-transfers.

my card showed limited use then did no work then atm stuck at canadian and us funds drive to mall it does not work go in envision hopefully to get an explanation but if your system is down for the umpteenth time yesterday it cost me money lost out on a great deal thanks not very much it seems to be a normal 3 ring er saaad. i guess we members who stay with you are not really wanted as you threaten them with new charges how about getting your services in order .

Good bank. Authorized withdrawals don't always happen on date which have caused $40 nsf fees, but manager worked with me and resolved most of my issues. Since then, my wife has opened an account there and have recommended to others.

Totally bungled a transaction and never let me know about it, costing me me money in lost interest. The fault is with no one but "the system." "We're between systems now, and I wasn't notified." Okay, but that means I won't be putting any more money in with Envision because their "system" doesn't work.

Would give a minus if possible. Phone calls all have to go through their toll-free number, but good luck getting help. You are on hold forever, and call backs are not offered on all options. My last wait was 45 min. of hellish music and then a frustrating discussion trying to update my access info, which ended without getting what I called for in the first place! I have been a member since this bank opened on Young Road in Chilliwack in the early 1970's and this is the first time I have seriously considered changing banks. We, the members have been pushed into doing all of our banking online and I expect a good online system and service to meet our needs. Envision's online service is half-baked and just leads to member frustration. Fix it!

The new renovations make an already sub par banking experience awkward and uncomfortable. I would elaborate but this branch just isn't worth the effort of writing a proper review.
