The hotel entrance and lobby looked clean. But reception services was very poor. There was someone being trained. Yet the trainer did not talk to us about available amenities and breakfast time. Nor where to locate the wifi password. The service was poor. But the worst is how this new trainee will function well with such a quality of training. However, the rugs in the second floor looked clean old buy the rooms and rugs were very clean and well kept.

The young man working the front desk was very helpful after Expedia caused us some grief with our booking. Mason was quick, friendly, and very accommodating. Very satisfied with the service we had here. However, the pillows are awful. The worst, most thick and chunky pillow I’ve ever had to try to sleep with. The amenities were a little outdated , definitely worn down- but the room was spacious and comfortable enough for our short stay.

Pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Would never use a Pomeroy pillow again and rather bring one from home. And alarm clocks from the 90s with no bedside plug in for modern technology was frustrating. Aside from that, solid breakfast and really nice staff here. I’ve been to Pomeroy in Dawson and the stuff plus the rooms were atrocious. Stoked these cats at least make you feel welcome. Just wish they’d recognize their tech is antiquated and if they want better reviews, invest in some new pillows that aren’t the cheapest you can find

Although it's an older hotel we found it to be immaculately clean, the service was excellent and all the little extras were wonderful! We had a fireplace in our suite which made it very comfortable and a little kitchenette with everything you need. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! The lobby was large and accommodating with a fireplace also, coffee was out at all times, and there was a spot for using the computer and sending correspondence. There was no issue with bringing our dog in who was traveling with us. We will definitely stop in again when we find ourselves in the area😊

$200 a night, definitely not worth it. Pool and hot tub wasn't working. Could of mentioned that on there site before booking. Kids where disappointed. With the amount of stains in the Hallways, they looked like a crime seen out of a movie. Stains all over the room, walls curtains lamp shades very disgusted. Food tasted like it was old and stale. Front desk was very rude. 2 out 5 stars. And that's being polite. Would not recommend.

Stayed here maybe 3 or 4 times, everything is pretty decent, however in 2 of our rooms, the bathrooms doors didn’t latch properly, and the bathroom fans were out of order.

It's embarrassing how bad that hotel is. And they charging 200$ a night! The mattresses are garbage. If I could put -5 stars i would. It's shocking how a hotel, who their whole existence is for sleep, has extremely bad mattresses and don't recognize it. I am here for business, for 8 nights. The first room was dirty, had a smell of stale sweat and extreme moisture. The bathroom had feces on the toilet. I asked to be cleaned and as I sat on the bed I could feel springs. They suggested to bring up a toper for the bed, I accepted thinking it's not gonna be that bad. (It got dropped off and I had to ask again for someone to come and at least help me put it on the bed!!!) I was proven wrong. After not being able to sleep for even an hour I asked for a different room which the front desk lady was not happy, and told me they didn't have any other rooms for that night but possible the next one. I requested a phone call to let me know the move for the next day. Never got one. After the 2nd night nightmare of no sleep, that morning went down again asking for update. There was a different girl very helpful (hence the 3 stars on the service), after some miscommunication from the first person, she told me they would have another room for me when i got back.
I got back from work at 9 pm and moved my belongings to the 2nd room, hoping it's gonna be better. The 2nd room mattress looked better? I really hoped at that point to sleep a bit, since I was exhausted from the 2 nights prior to 1 hour sleep each night. 2nd room was also dirty, found garbage on the side of the night table, with the same stale smell.
My hopes were crushed. Clearly they have no room with good mattresses. So far all of them are old with springs hitting your hips and ribs. I'm not a big person or anything, just your average I guess. But it's shocking how bad they are.
Your job as a hotel is to provide a room with a bed to sleep in. If you can't do that, you're failing BIG!
3 nights with no sleep so far. Let's see if I'll be able to make it to the end. (It's unfortunate that I can't move hotels due to the reservation done by work.)

Stayed for a week , work related.
Had to ask for room service after 3 days, and to top it off, continental breakfast was Fruit loops, stale muffins, and a yogurt , that's if u like yogurt.

I asked why no bacon , eggs and hash ?
Oh , because the Holiday Season she said !

More like Pomeroy had nobody to work it, or didn't wanna pay a fair wage to get someone to work it.
And today is January 30th .

Room was only 174 bucks a night , 🤣
