Don’t apply, I applied for a loan I have good consistent pay from my employer, but was denied because I have transaction and atm withdrawals? Makes no sense. Supposed to be quick and easy wasted 4 hours of my life emailing them back and forth getting them all the documents they needed just get denied and told to try again in 60 days, also was told they can’t override the “decision engine”. Sure…..

I've used Venue a few times over the last couple years and had positive experiences... Then a couple months ago they changed their system and now even though nothing's changed on my end, I can't seem to get approved anymore

A year ago I would have given 5 stars. Now, over this past year ZERO stars. I have placed a complaint with the BBB & encourage others to do the same. COPY OF MY EMAIL SENT, no response received:

"I've been demanding to speak to a manager for
months. There have been multiple errors with my account and loans & payment processing. I would have long stopped being a client there if it had not been for my ongoing ______ bills in the thousands of dollars.

Two months ago I was blind-sided by a payment coming out of my account 5 days prematurely.  I have since put a permanent stop-payment on my bank account. N______ set up my payments to be made by e-transfer going forward. Once again I am blind-sided by another one of your attempts to take payment from my account today.

I have never defaulted on any of your payday loans in the 2 years since I've been a customer.

Even though there is a stop-payment in place, my account will be overdrawn for 24hrs and I will be unable to use it for bill payments and purchases. This also has a ripple effect of fees, car payments, rent, other loans, etc that need to clear my account today.

This affects people's credit and relationship with their bank and creditors and ability to get future credit or other banking products.

Each time I ask for a manager I am only given this email address which is unacceptable. No last name, no telephone number, no location. No information. The conversation goes around in circles. I don't even know for sure who will be opening this email.

Apologies and understanding do not fix or resolve the level of incompetence from this business, that repeats itself, that I have not experienced anywhere else. There are other customers you have done this to according to reviews on Google."

Venue financial Vernon BC location was an amazing group of people. caring, kind, and in tune with the feelings of clients who hit hard times and need assistance ..

Venue Vernon then closed its doors and my wife and i were forced to now deal with head office..

HUGE contrast. Now we feel like a number instead of a person. They simply do not have empathy for their clients.

We have been on the hook with Venue for approximately a year. reloaning and paying, reloaning and paying.. Blemish free record.

Now they have been taking payments out of my account before the paycheck arrives which then dings us with overdraft fees.. Upon shedding light on this issue, i have now received exactly ZERO response from them.

Additionally, when a payment plan needs to be edited, the representatives seem to forget that adding notes to the account for the next person is not important.. We arranged to change a payment date, and when the old date came up, they made attempts to take money. when it wasnt available it then gave us an NSF fee.. Fair enough. mistakes happen.. but it was like pulling teeth tying to make them understand that it was not our fault they cannot communicate with each other.. after all was said and done, the representative said (and i quote) "we cant give you those NSF fees back. Thats a lot of money to be returning" --- Seriously? Give your head a shake. and yes, i said fee(s) plural.. They didnt want to cover the one on our end, and wanted to charge US for the one on their end..

UNACCEPTABLE.

Next time we need a payday loan, we will be giving someone else our business.

This place is a joke. They take payments out of your account before asking, and then Same day that they take the money out they call you send you a text email and FACEBOOK MESSAGE saying you need to make payments. They are demeaning, extremely rude and will lie and say whatever they can to get you to make another payment. They were telling me I HAD to make a payment this month, meanwhile a payment has already been made, and they harass you if you don’t answer them right away. Horrible business horrible customer service, wish you could do negative stars

Worst company to deal with 0 customer service skills, rude and have 0 knowledge of how claims work u can not take money from somones account without knowledge unless I signed a pre authorization form outside of the dates u provide worst company ever should be closed down and never allowed to do pay day loans again
