Reception is incredibly rude and disorganized- booked an appointment and when I showed up was told to leave because it was a phone appointment. When I didn’t get a call I was told that the doctor did call me and I just didn’t answer, then was told it was an in person appointment and I missed it. When I told them they told me it was a phone appointment they completely dismissed me and didn’t even apologize. Anytime i’ve needed anything from reception beyond booking a simple appointment i’ve been met with hostility and have had to explain myself multiple times. Most recently they lost my paperwork, claimed to have already given it to me and then found the paperwork and then simply handed it to me without so much as a sorry. Trying to even get ahold of them is a joke and they will leave you on hold for upwards of 15 minutes just to answer and have to reexplain the reason for your call.
I understand being overworked and making mistakes but the attitude and disregard is ridiculous.

Well Unfortunately I'm with the Nay-sayers. My experience was pretty horrible. The Dr was an arrogant unprofessional rude excuse for a doctor. I understand the shortage but us regular folk aren't here for people in this profession to have thier frustrations taken out on.

Maybe I'm bias I don't know. I have had excellent doctors in the past that have either retired or expired so I know they don't have to have an holier-than-thou approach but now a days we have these straight out of the books physicians that care more about thier status than the well being of others.

There's no point going into details. I normally would let it slide off my shoulders but perhaps if more people submitted complaints, some of these terribly behaved doctors will grow a bit of a bed side manner, who knows. This one I feel pretty offended so I'll be submitting to the college of physicians this time. Whether that helps or not idk but at least I will try.

Needed to get a PSA test & a collar bone scan. Dr Koopman saw me same day and aranged for the tests. Excellent experience Dr Koopman took his time to examine my condition and make the test appointments. He was very personable and friendly. Overall it was a very good experience!

First time at Cowrie Medical. Dr Lisa Smith was excellent. Great explanation and diagram to help explain my ? owie and quick to prescribe necessary meds. Would absolutely recommend Dr Smith! Great bedside manner ?

Receive good care from all the doctors in the clinic I have seen. Dr. Kricken, my assigned physician is very good. Dr. Dhillon, who sometimes stands in for him really impressed me with his personal approach. He took care of my problem, then proceeded to inquire about other health issues that were on my profile giving a whole health approach. The care I receive from both physicians is much appreciated. Sorry to report, however, is the support staff. Not all are invested in looking after the patient. There is a distance felt, like I am interrupting something. Great clinic otherwise!

Rude and dismissive doctors. Reviews suggest the same treatment as my family received - doctors want to get done to move on. Dr. Nouh was - as she said - "volunteering at the Sechelt hospital" while I was asking about my father who is passing away from cancer. After 5 minutes of questions she picked up her backpack and simply walked out saying that she had "already had a full day". Nurses there commented that this was how she always was. Sad that this is how doctors act today.

I have become very impressed with this doctors office. Both the doctors and the staff are excellent. They are efficient, polite, respectful, knowledgeable, punctual and provide thorough care. I grateful to have them in my community.

Dr.Javid is the best family doctor we have ever had and I feel so fortunate to have my whole family under her care. Many of the reviews here that are bad and directed toward the front desk staff are accurate in my early experience, but they seem worlds better in the last year. Not sure if they changed out some problematic staff members that were dragging them down, but recently they are professional, courteous and helpful whenever I interact with them. I feel good giving a five star review for the office at this point and want to note that some of the front desk deserves some love for their efforts. Thanks!
