I fought with them for over 6 months to get my vehicle, fully insured by them, repaired after vandalism after I went for an estimate of the damages with an auto body shop OF MY CHOICE, NOT affiliated with them and ended paying 800$ on top of the 500$ deductible.

- Driving said vehicle that could not be secure due to damages for 6 months because we couldn’t come to an agreement and my policy only covered rental for up to 5 weeks
-They tried to force me to go with one of their affiliated body shop
-their appraiser gave such a lowball estimate for the repairs with an itemized list that didn’t cover the exact replacement parts nor included half of the labor needed to execute the job properly
- when I tried to escalate into a dispute resolution the appraiser called and email me saying quote “ Travelers is not willing to pay Fix for their rates. You are responsible to pay the difference. Travelers will reimburse you. I just need a copy your receipt when repairs are complete.“ To which I did and they did not reimburse me the amount I paid. The cost of the “extra” repairs they didn’t want to cover was 1149$ which I paid out of pocket on top of the deductibles of 500$. After sending them receipts they reimburse me 299$ out of 1149$ that I paid.
-my last attempt was emailing the appraiser supervisor, explaining the situation to him and his response was “I don’t think you understand how this work”

Worst insurance ever. The amount of headaches with this company. You're better off finding somewhere more reasonable other than travelers.

I went with them through my brokerage. And have never been in an accident. Someone hit my car, and i needed a bumper repair. To make a long story short, THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! they refused to pay for the turn signal light thats attached to my bumper and was hit directly which magically stopped working after the accident. The customer service was horrendous. I'm switching insurance, avoid at all cost!!!

First time in my life that I have to deal company which will charge you as much as they want for their service.
Based on Travelers insurance employees early cancelation fee can be any amount and they don't have any idea how much. System makes that decision.
I only can hope that System will be merciful to me and that I won't be forced to be a slave for rest of my life in order to pay cancelation fee.
And only company in my life which raising prices for their services for 56 % in less than 2 years.
Strongly recommend -AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Actually I don't see any problems to start insurance with them and just switch next year. Starting rates are good. They want your money and they count on our laziness.

Booked a 3day rental car for a 10day repair. Got a guilt trip when I reported the issue saying it was a courtesy to waive my deductible even though they had the other drivers info for a hit and run. Police report says it was not a courtesy and I was lied to for the sake of false customer service

Agent will not pick up calls, takes days to reply to emails. Very poor customer service and not worth the little bit of savings, will be looking to switch ASAP if things do not improve.

Avoid the headache at all cost! Chase after them for answers, they will never give you a fair value for the car! Don't return calls promptly.
