Carol, at Capri Insurance, has booked two trips for us in 2023. She is super hard working, responds quickly to emails and hears all of your requests. She is very informative, finds great deals and taylor’s your trip to meet your wishes better than you can imagine. We would highly recommend her!

Our experience was extremely dissatisfying. Tania performed the bare minimum duties of a travel agent - we could have done the same through a website - that's how little she did. When we ended up having a complaint about our travel plans, it seemed that she didn't care about our situation at all. We paid for a direct flight - the airlines changed that and we received zero compensation. As a travel agent, she should be our advocate in these matters and again, she performed the bare minimum and didn't fight for our rights at all. I would never use Tania or Capri Travel again. Typically I don't judge the business due to one employee's poor performance, however, Tania is listed as a manager on the website. If this is the type of employee worthy of a management position - I will never use this business again.

Been doing my own airline bookings for almost three decades but decided to use a travel agency this time, given the international travel issues arising from Covid-19. So glad I did! Carol of Capri Travel was super helpful, patient and unfazed when rebooking was necessary. She went out of her way to get relevant information, and was available almost anytime, any day. Capri Travel is, in my experience, a very professional business that is conveniently located (and with plenty of parking, too). I highly recommend it.

Carol of Capri Travel here in Kelowna was incredible when my wife’s parents suddenly passed away and she wanted to return to France for their funeral. She got a good deal on a direct flight (Air France) from Vancouver to Paris and booked my wife at the Fairmount at YVR so she would be in good time to get the AF flight which left YVR early on a Monday
Without warning, Air France cancelled the flight the next day, the Saturday before. My wife had already taken a COVID test which had to prove negative and be taken within 72 hours of an overseas flight.
Working on that weekend, Carol found an Air Canada flight out of YVR for my wife that would connect with an Air France flight to Paris leaving out of Montreal, and would leave before the 72-hour window of validity for the COVID test would close.
The time was getting close on the Sunday afternoon to check in at Kelowna airport, YLW, but we had no confirmation or ticket. Carol assured us she would keep working on the ticket but said it was important to set off and get there on time, by which time the ticket would be ready at the check-in desk.
There was also the question of payment for the new flight. At first, the airlines were demanding fresh payments for the tickets with a promise to refund whatever we had paid by cheque later in the week. After we raised our concerns, Carol finangled it so we would only have to pay an extra amount. That settled, we set off for YLW without a ticket, praying all would be fine when we arrived. Thanks to Carol’s great organization it was. The ticket was there at the check-in and when my wife finally boarded the Air France flight in Montreal, she did so with just 1 hour to spare on her COVID-19 test (which had come through negative the day before).
Thank you Carol, from both of us for making this difficult but necessary trip possible.

I called these guys with an urgent international travel need when they opened on a Friday at 9AM. I was assured someone would get on it if I emailed details, which I did. I followed-up with several calls and emails during the day, mostly unanswered - which should have been a clue. I got an email at 5 PM saying they were too busy and would do it the next day. They did not even email me the next day, and I ended up booking a very difficult trip to 3 countries online myself. Stay away from this business, they are hopeless.

I would highly recommend Capri Travel. Tania organized our detailed trip wonderfully. She always answered our questions in a timely manner. She is very professional and on top of things. You can tell she has attention to detail!
