Tried to pay my auto insurance here via credit card and they said it was against ICBC policy to accept payment via credit card and they then called ICBC to ask and even the person on the phone said no but when I looked at the ICBC website it clearly states that credit cards are an acceptable form of payment and when I went down the road to another auto plan broker I had zero issues paying via credit card they really need to figure out how auto icbc insurance works and icbc needs to have people on the phone who actually knows what they are talking about instead of giving conflicting answers to what is on their own website

Gary tried pretty hard to fail me. After I did an almost perfect driver's road test because I traveled all the way from courtenay during a pandemic! not cool Gary. almost exactly the same complaint as the other one from rockstone

TERRIBLE customer service, SLOW and INCOMPETENT. I have been in three times trying to change the withdrawal dates for insurance and they STILL have not fixed it, and is now costing me money. I was told to come back to finish some paperwork after things were sorted with my BC care care, only to wait 45 minutes to be told I, in fact, did not have to come back. the worker I worked with cheerfully said "oh! i didn't know that!!" yeah, well your lack of understanding at your job is costing me money and time. Go to first insurance and dont waste your time with these idiots.

Road test review: I had road test for driver's test with Westview Angencies Ltd at Powell River, BC, Canada. Driver examinar (Name: Garry) is bias and discriminating against immigrants. I live in Courtenay and booked my road test in Powell River as the dates are not available before May 2021 and its November 2020 now. I need driver's licence urgently to support my family's needs and to go to office (Bus takes too much time since there is no good connectivity between Courtenay to Campbell River). He was rude and asked me why you booked Powell River, where should people of this city go?. I mean i dont want to spend so much amount on ferry and take one day off from office and come here for fun, but i dont have choice. When ICBC allows it in their website who is he to discourage people to come. He didn't like me and seems pre-decided to fail me and he failed me. Im surprised to see such people are also present in Canada. Sad.

Took a road test yesterday. All of the people here are very nice. The examiner is knowledgeable and wisely looking at the whole picture of the driving skills. Thank you.

Today was a nightmare! I was renewing my insurance n it shulda took 5min n I sat there for 15 or more n still never had my papers to leave...apparently they were "lost in space" as she told me which I knew they weren't! So I had to flag down another representative to help this spaces out agent n finally I got my paper s to be able to get back to wrk n 10 min late I might add! Never will I go there again!!

They NEVER answer the phone, which in this time of COVID forces people to go in person. All you can do is leave a message and hope you get a call back. Obviously customer service is not their priority, saving money on staff is. Go directly to Underwriters, they actually answer the phone.
