After my father’s cancer diagnosis, I began reviewing medical literature for natural and integrative treatments that work better than conventional treatment alone. Even though we are on the east coast of the United States, Port Moody Health seemed like the best possible clinic in North America for my dad’s integrative cancer treatment based on the evidence-based treatments they offer, and the reviews I saw online.

After three trips to Port Moody for treatment, I can say we definitely made the right choice. Dr. Gurm’s expertise in both conventional and integrative treatments and how they interact is unmatched, as is her care for her patients. I have never spoken with a doctor as knowledgeable and proficient in their field as she is.
Every single person working at Port Moody Health demonstrates the utmost care and commitment to excellence. At a time when many medical professionals are becoming burnt-out and apathetic, the staff here are the opposite. The front desk staff are attentive to detail, caring, and communicative, and the nurses and Dr. Jeff truly care about each patient’s comfort and well-being, and take the time to address all concerns and answer any and all questions.

Besides the evidence-based treatment they provide, I have no doubt that the positivity of the staff at Port Moody Health is contributing to the incredible progress my dad has seen so far.

My traditional medical options for dealing with Stage 4 colon cancer were slipping away.
