My sister and I had a fantastic time on our personalized wine tour with "Grape Friends"! Karen was a pleasure to work with and curated a unique tour for us based our our interests. We also upgraded to have a picnic style charcuterie lunch included and it did not disappoint. Scott, our driver and tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable and made the tour all that much better. I definitely recommend this tour group... They're "Grape"!!!

Ron and Karen made our experience amazing! We just had the best day! I booked the custom tour because we wanted to go to cideries and a distillery. We chose which places we wanted and they organized it all! Ron was super friendly while driving us and gave us great recommendations in Penticton (like Elma restaurant). He even offered to stop at an extra cidery on the way back, super kind! The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Penticton is stunning and the cideries were delicious! We've been on many wine tours and this was one of the best and great value.

Karen took my husband and I on the most wonderful wine tour. We stayed in Summerland as part of our honeymoon and our day wine tasting was definitely a highlight. Karen crafted the day based on our preferences, while also making sure to challenge us on what we did (and didn’t like) in wines. We never felt rushed or patronised in our tasting or our tastes. Would definitely recommend if you want something friendly and more personalised than other tours … this was so good we’re coming back with four bottles!

Karen is a wealth of information and using the notes that we provided regarding what wines we prefer easily made our tour of Naramata simply perfect!

Our group of five visited 18 wineries over 4 days of private tastings ranging from Kelowna to Osoyoos. As seasoned oenophiles we’re quite particular in the experiences we’re looking for - proper sit down tastings with access to reserve and library wines where possible. In the days leading up to our visit we worked extensively with Karen to craft a bespoke itinerary incorporating both wineries we wished to visit and ones she recommended. Karen set up all of the tastings, crafted a schedule, and ensured we stuck to it, making adjustments as necessary as the day went on. Even more impressive, as the week progressed, she saw what we liked and didn’t like and worked with the wineries to tweak their tastings, just for us, on the fly. We had wines and experiences we simply would not have had if we had been on our own. She pays attention to the customer, understands what they want, and clearly has strong relationships throughout the valley that open doors - in one case persuading a winemaker to open for a tasting when normally closed.

They also offer a dinner transportation service, dropping you off at a restaurant in Penticton and picking you up afterward. Karen recommended some of the restaurants and made all the dinner reservations. This made things much easier after a day of tasting.

Grape Friends is a professional, full service, experienced, and customer focused tour operator and we highly recommend them.
