We previously enjoyed self-guided winery tours, but this time we decided to treat ourselves to a professional experience with Grape Escapes Wine Tours—and we’re so glad we did! Our guide, Rod Strike, warmly greeted us when the spacious, well-cooled van picked us up from a relative’s home.

Over the course of the day, we visited four incredible wineries, and thanks to some extra time, we even made an impromptu stop at a delightful cider house. Rod was an exceptional guide, sharing fascinating insights about the local history and vineyards that enhanced our experience.

He came fully prepared, bringing along a cooler for our purchases and even offering us a large cardboard box when he noticed we were buying quite a bit. The sandwiches from The Bench were absolutely delicious, so much so that we returned there for breakfast the next day!

Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend Grape Escapes Wine Tours for anyone looking to explore the region’s wineries with a knowledgeable and attentive guide.

My husband and I recently took a wine tour with Spencer, and it was an exceptional experience. From start to finish, Spencer’s knowledge of the wines and the region was impressive. He shared fascinating insights about each vineyard we visited, making the tour not only enjoyable but also educational.

Having experienced other wine tours in the area, I can confidently say this was the best. The selection of wineries was excellent, and the pace was just right, allowing us to savor each tasting without feeling rushed.

What a fantastic day! After looking at many your operators, we chose Grape Escapes for the day trip through the Naramata Bench. Our tour guide Mel was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to our group of six, four of whom were visiting from Germany. Mel took the time at our first winery to provide some wine education which definitely was put to use. We stopped at a lovely winery for lunch and carried on for another two wineries complete with charcuterie. I would definitely recommend Grape Escapes and if you get the chance, ask for Mel. You won’t be disappointed.

Me and my partner went to Naramata for the first time . We have never taken a wine tour and this was our first . We were glad we booked through grape escapes . Although we booked a group tour , but since it was the end of the season , it became a private one ?. Dino was a great guide and very knowledgeable. He took us to some great wineries and we had a great experience . He even arranged a picnic lunch for us in Moraine Winery . Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to book a tour on Naramata Bench !!

We had an amazing tour to 4 wineries in the Naramata Valley with Garth. He was extremely knowledgeable about wine and the geographical area and history. We went on the Okanagan Falls wine tour on September 20th with Rod and had the most amazing time. Rod made the trip so much fun and all the wineries were so friendly with great wines. Lunch at Noble Ridge was really good with perfect surroundings, good wine and good food. Highly recommend this company.

We had such a wonderful wine tour with Mel. He was very knowledgeable and provided deep insight into each winery we attended, and had lots of fun along the way! We usually do self-guided tours, but decided to treat ourselves to a tour with Grape Escapes Wine Tours. So very glad that we did and that we picked them! Our guide was Rod Strike and he was amazing! He picked us up in the van and took the time to do some wine education to help us for our tastings.

We went to four incredible wineries, and even fit in a bonus one that specialized in wines that were of a particular liking to one of us (more sweet, less dry). Rod was so knowledgeable and shared many insights about the local history and wineries.

He came prepared and packed his muscles as he was often carrying cases of wine to the back of the van! The lunch picnic was delicious and he picked a great spot with a fabulous view of the valley!

I highly recommend Grape Escapes Wine Tours! My only recommendation is that if you have already done some of the various wineries of the region, send them a list in advance so that they choose new to you wineries. We went to a couple I had already been to but that was ok with me as they were favorites of mine!
