I have never written a one star review in my life before, this is the first. We booked 4 rooms and out of four rooms three of their tubs were clogged, and NONE of the lights were working. I asked for them to fix it and they said they would send someone in 5 mins even though we were about to head out, but ok. Even so nobody showed up to fix it. The soap in the only working shower was the bare minimum, it ran out the first day and the stair lights outside were fused and it is such a hazard at night time you can’t see anything. I would never recommend this motel to anyone, it was the only available. I would rather spend another 100 and be treated like an actual human. Not to mention all the moths in the room that would just fly in. The money you save here is not worth the hassle

I no booking, just walk in last night. Staff very nice, help me find good room. Room is clean and price also good. No extra charge for holiday, very fair. Thank you, I happy stay here.

Stayed one night. Comfortable and pretty clean. Quiet except for the trains (which I like). New fridge works great. Separate freezer is good to have.

Our room was old and very dated. It was 30 degrees out and the air conditioner was not working properly (probably a coolant issue).and the fridge, etc. were producing a lot of heat. We had to open the window to let in some cool air (we were on the ground floor). We discovered that the windows had no locks, which creates a security issue, and there was lack of privacy when we had to open the curtains/window. We had to close the windows an hour later due to someone smoking cigarettes. On top of that, we could hear the people/toddler above us walking/running around because the building is so poorly constructed. It sounded like elephants above us. Bring your earplugs if you decide to stay here.

Just checked in for a one-night stay. The room is not very clean. There are 2 fridges, but neither of them work. The older fridge is absolutely filthy inside and both of them had old food left behind. When I asked for ice since the fridges weren't working, she gave me a baggie with 6 ice cubes in it.

We camped here after hearing it was the only campground in Barriere. The management took our money, then told us we couldn't have access to a toilet or any water, despite several motel rooms being free. Luckily, some of the staff took pity on us and let us into a room to get water and use the toilet, against the wishes of their nasty boss. The place also looks more like a scrapyard than a campground. Avoid!

We stayed here one night because in Kamloops all hotels were booked due an event on our journey to Jasper. This is a place for a short stay. nothing fancy, but a motel in a true sense of a motel. Check-in was friendly, room as clean, WIFI was strong and room was quiet. Price was very fair. Rooms are not modern, but had been refurbished partly. This is not a "resort", but a motel at a good price with average comfort.
