Beware!!! This place is addictive! I started riding at WWRA a year ago (after a 15 years break) and I now am a horse mom and spend every minute I have over there. <3 The girls are fun and they will push you to reach your riding goals, whatever they may be. The barn/arenas are nice and Trish is always investing and improving. It's truly amazing to see what they have accomplished over the year I have been there. I've seen young kids greatly benefit from their programs like "Little Ranchers" and the different seasonal Day Camps. And open for everyone, the lessons are the way to go. The ranch also sometimes offer clinics with awesome guests teachers (roping, packing, barrel racing...) and they are really well priced as well for what you get. I also board my horse there now and I know he is loved, and safe. I even let them use him for lessons and camps because it makes my horse so happy to have all of this love and attention! I found my horse through their consignment program. Trish made the process easy for me to adopt my horse. I would highly recommend you go through her for any selling/buying of a horse. Overall, amazing experience.

Trycia is the best riding coach that I have ever had, she is not only an amazing coach but an amazing friend. She works hard every day for her students and horses, If you are looking for riding lessons or horsemanship this is the place to be.

I started lessons with Trycia and then promptly bought one of the horses she had trained and had for sale. She is a fabulous coach and the barn atmosphere at Wild West Ranch is super inviting. the rates are reasonable and it's close to town. 10/10 recommend!

Highly recommend!!! Whether you are an adult looking to start riding, clean up your skill and learn new things Trycia is wonderful! If you have kids that love horses and want to get involved, amazing!!! I wish I had a Trycia in my life as a child to introduce me to the equine world. She is fantastic! And all the girls at the ranch are so sweet and welcoming.

Wild West Ranch Alberta has been the greatest landing for both my horses! They received such a great amount of care on a daily basis! Trycia puts her all into making sure you know your horse is more than well taken care of!
Her lesson program is so great for anyone novice to looking to take on rodeo season immediately! She’ll push you, but only to be the best you can be! Even with your BIG mare 😉

My daughter just started riding lessons at WWRA and we knew after the first 5 minutes that we would be extending her time beyond the initial month we signed up for. This is such an amazing place, with wonderful and welcoming people. My daughter has already gained so much more than just learning how to saddle up and ride (building confidence and responsibility). Her instructor is patient, kind and so knowledgeable. I'm so glad WWRA was recommended to us when we started looking into lessons! I have no doubt that we will be here for a long time to come!

I’ve been taking lessons and riding with Trycia for almost 3 years, she is the most incredible horsewoman to learn from. Trycia takes the time to explain the “why” behind her methods and teaches her students to listen as well as to respect all of the horses. From helping out at the ranch, I have gained not only a strong sense of work ethic but also genuine friendships that will last a lifetime. I board my barrel horse and my pony at Wild West ranch where they receive 24/7 access to quality hay and fresh water. As a boarder, I have full access to the round pen, outdoor arena, indoor arena, heated barn and many other special amenities such as a spacious tack locker. I really love boarding at Wild West Ranch, it is truly a family environment.
