I would give Wild Rose a 10 if I could. I had to go to Edmonton last June to take urgent guardianship of my dad because he had dementia and was on his own. I was there for several months and needed a safe place for my dad while I went back for a couple of months to wrap up some stuff before coming back. Wild Rose was the perfect place. First of all, my dad enjoyed living there and he chose it over other retirement communities. He had his own apartment so he felt like he was still living independently while the staff kept a discreet eye on him. The community is small and the staff know all the residents. When he did need help, they have a full time social worker who contacted AHS to request various services I didn’t even know were available. When he came back from the ER, the 24 hour nursing staff checked on him every couple of hours. The location was perfect because it’s across the street from a Shopper’s Drugstore, Safeway and other amenities. The general manager, Nadine Ternevoy, was wonderful. She has clearly has a lot of experience and a lovely bedside manner. Her door was alway open and even replied to emails while on holiday. The staff really went above and beyond and I felt like my dad was in a safe place. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I found the Wildrose when I was researching places for my mom to move to here in Edmonton. I knew it had to be special cause she had a great support system in Lethbridge but no family! I went for a tour and told my mom we didn’t need to look farther. Since moving in my mom has made great friends! I go to almost all the activities that are available when I’m not working! When I need a place to move into I gknow I’ve already found it!!!

When my dad lived at Wild Rose. I felt at ease with so much support from the staff, and having the extra medical support in house was the most settling feeling I have felt as a daughter. It’s a quaint boutique style home, Everyone knows each other. Suites are spacious And quite accessible with tubs and toilets that were updated. Kitchen, staff and food were a good quality. Shout out to Nadine and Wendy You both were awesome!

Wow! Just wow! I can’t say enough about the staff and this place. I stopped by in search of a place for my parents and from the moment I walked in I knew this was the place. Wendy and Nadine were so welcoming and took the time I needed to ask questions and see the place. I toured 4 other places but like I said I knew this was the one.
My parents are now settling in two weeks later and Erin, Jas, Rizza, and the care staff (sorry I can’t remember all the names) are outstanding.
This place is a hidden gem in West Edmonton, if you are in search of a home for yourself or your parents please come check out Wild Rose. You won’t be disappointed.

My Mother currently living at the Residence. She enjoys it very much. I alone haven't seen the building or been there so far. In due time. Last night I went to visit my Mother at her residence. Last time I saw her was before Xmas. She was emotional when I showed up to surprised her while waiting for her dinner. Spent time with her for awhile. Then left to go home. Will visit with her again. Whenever the time comes later.

My mom moved in to Wildrose approximately a year ago. It was a stressful time for our family as we transitioned mom to a home that offered a higher level of care. We were shown the room mom is now in, we were given a tour of the building and just feel in love with the place and staff. Mom is so happy here, she loves her room, she always says she's home now.

During this difficult time with Covid-19 and not being able to come into the building, the staff have gone above and beyond to come up with other options to visit our mom, like the outdoor visits 6' apart. As well as offering activities for the residents to keep them active and happy.

I can't express enough how amazing the staff at Wildrose is; the front desk, the nurses, the dining room staff, maintance and cleaning staff are the most caring and respectful people I've met. I would highly recommend Chartwell Wildrose to any family looking for a place for their parents/loved ones.

My mom recently moved in to Wildrose. We shopped around at other seniors places before we chose Wildrose . The reason we moved her here was pretty simple. It is a small home without the usual bells and whistles but we all felt welcome the moment we walked in. Every staff said hello to us. We didn’t have an appointment but we were invited to join in for lunch. We did. The food was simple but wholesome and tasty. No preprepared meals in sight. The server in the dining room couldn’t have been better if she worked in a 5 star hotel. Best of all there were so many choices. My mom ate everything and she hasn’t had an appetite for a long time. After lunch we spent about 2 hours with the manager. She answered all our questions and explained things to us. She didn’t rush us or pressure us. We were so confused after visiting the other places we thought we would never find a new home for my mom. The manager listened to my mom instead of talking to me. At the other places no one said a word to my mom. This place was different. It felt like the manager cared. We went home and called back to say we wanted my mom to be at Wildrose. The exceptional treatment continued and they all made my mom welcome and made me feel like I could stop worrying. My moms care staff are “caring”. The leisure activities are plenty and fun. My mom is doing yoga now for the first time in her life. I love yoga and hope to join in for a class with my mom. We remain very pleased and greatful my mom is at Wildrose. Thankyou to everyone who helps my mom.

I’ve did my practicum as a Supportive Care Assistant at the Wild Rose , and to be honest I’ve worked in different nursing homes but this place is number One in my eyes from my experience. The Manager Jaskaran Singh was very supportive , super polite and professional. Everyone one of them from all the stuff to people who worked in the office and kitchen were amazing and very welcoming. I do recommend this place to everyone it’s a place to call home . It would be my pleasure to go back and work as a HCA when I take my course . Miss you guys ❀
