We spent a few nights here, and the staff and owners are super accommodating. They're friendly and go above and beyond. The rooms were clean and it was a. Ice getaway. Be warned....the meals are huge!! Anyone who feels the need to complain about prices there needs to give their head a shake. Meals are massive and so so good! Their prices are actually no different than any other restaurant in my community; only difference is that the portions are huge. Met the owners, they were easy going and made us feel like we were a part of their family. We would def go back again.

I like the food there. I often got lunch or just coffee with my friends. One time I ate a borscht and it was so good. It's nice and clean place. Polite and friendly waitresses and personnel. The white otter is placed in a comfortable location and you can get there easily on the way to Atikokan or from.

The room was clean with a comfortable bed - the bathroom door had a broken hinge so was difficult to close - my husband who is a handyman tried to fix it but said the hinge was worn out and needed to be replaced - looked like someone had tried to fix it but failed - (we reported it when we checked out). Restaurant was closed all the time we were there. Certainly not worth $159.95 + tax ($180.74) - more like a $99 a night room!!

The rooms are large and the AC works well, the food at this place was excellent and extremely well priced. The service is also well above average, really friendly and fast to respond to anything you might need.

I eat steak everywhere I go it did not disappoint. I travel a tremendous amount for my job. I came here for a vacation with my family. My 2 older kids my dad, my uncle and my cousin and his kid. The steak did not disappoint at all nor did any of the other two meals that I ate there. Would defiantly repeat the same thing when I go fishing with Canoe Canada again.

Owner removed our construction workers from the rooms because Hydro One was willing to pay more per night. Cancelled our stays and packed up the workers belongings in garbage bags.

Stopped in to find some lunch. The staff and environment were very welcoming for my family and I. The service was fast and friendly and the food came out hot, fast and delicious. Would recommend to anyone who's looking for some food which hits the spot and wants to enjoy a dining room which has the right amount of small town charm.
