Nous y avons séjourné deux nuits, avant et après notre trip avec Mackenzie trail west. Hôtel propre, chambre sobre mais confortable. Le resto de l’hôtel est excellent! Le personnel souriant, poli et attentionné. Ils ont gentiment gardé nos valises lors de notre semaine dans les rocheuses et tout était parfait a notre retour!

Je suis restée une nuit à cet hôtel qui est situé au centre de la ville. L'accueil et la chambre était bien. C'était propre. Le déjeuner était compris et il y a un très bon restaurant dans l'hôtel. L'insonorisation est moyenne.

Front Desk staff informed me that only smoking-rooms were available. Room smelt horrible. I went to change rooms and noticed that other customers were able to get non-smoking rooms (without prior reservations), immediately left when I realized I wasn't welcome and got lied to.

Stopped in for afternoon drink at the bar which coincidentally wasn't busy at all. Had three different waitresses walk right by us after we were seated. Sat there being ignored for another ten minutes before leaving and going to Forty Eight which had great service.

We stayed here as a stopping point between Jasper and Edmonton so that we could take our time to explore the Icefields Parkway and the David Thompson. This hotel was a bit confusing at first as there are two beside each other and we didn't know where to go but after we figured it out all was good. Check in was easy, room was clean and a great size (one queen) with a couch and table and chairs. We arrived later in the evening so didn't do much so can't comment on the things around the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was good in the restaurant, they gave you discounted upgrade options if you didn't want what they offering. This was a decent hotel and I would stay again.

Tried to give this place another go. Uncomfortable beds and pillows(bought my own). Old rooms with disgusting carpet. Shower has no pressure at all and sprays straight, no spread. Waited over an hour one day for Bacon and eggs, and 30 mins most days, while takeout orders come and go. Price is ridiculous for what you get. There isn't much competition I guess so I understand why people still come here. Best of the worst. Mainly disappointed in the time it takes to get food after working nights.

The Walking Eagle is definitely one of the best value for dollar places I’ve ever stayed at. Room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was fantastic, staff were friendly, everything worked perfectly (ie microwave, fridge, AC, water taps/shower………. Unlike some higher end hotel chains I’ve stayed in) and it was quiet. Cosmetically the room was dated, which didn’t matter to me. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in Rocky Mountain House, this place is a gem.

Showers only are as tall as 5 feet from the bottom of the tub. Older front desk assistant lady is extremely rude and unprofessional, laughing at my requests for a new door key. Will never stay here again and will never be recommended, I've stayed in hotels all over Canada. If it wasn't for the restaurant I'd say it's the worst by far because of this experience.
