Couldn’t be happier with the program at Wake Robin. My daughter rides in multiple lessons a week and is not only becoming a stronger rider but she is also becoming a capable horse person. Learning all about horsemanship on and off the horse. I board my own horse at Wake and he is happy and healthy. The facility is lovely and well looked after.
Wake Robin has become our second home. My daughter is one of the youngest at the barn and I am always thankful for the role models there that she can look up to. The ‘older’ girls are supportive and encouraging and have become some of my daughters most favourite people.
Thank you for providing a place for the next gen of riders to fall in love with the horses and the sport.

Wake Robin Farm is well established grassroots program that is a gem in the Ontario equestrian world.The atmosphere makes it clear that this is more than a riding school-it's a community built on Kindness, Inclusion, and Respect for everyone who walks through their barn doors. The "all levels welcome" approach fosters a sense of belonging that can sometimes feel hard to find in traditional equestrian spaces. Instructors/coaches strive to teach riding and horsemanship with skill and patience while emphasizing the importance of teamwork, empathy and respect both for fellow riders as well as the horses and ponies.
If you're looking for a riding school where you can feel truly at home while growing as a rider and person, this is it! Highly Recommend!

My 10 year old daughter recently spent two weeks at Wake Robin Farm for their horseback riding camp and walked away with an absolutely incredible experience. Kelly and her team set the gold standard for this summer camp and our daughter is already talking about returning next summer. Everything ran so smoothly, the horses good natured and well cared for, all within a pastoral 'storybook' setting (the drive there alone provides the atmosphere). This was above and beyond our expectations, and an experience like no other. This is a girl and her dream, and Wake Robin Farm brought it to life. Well done everyone, five stars well deserved.

I’m deeply disappointed with the experience at wake robin farms.. My children have been attending lessons here, and they initially enjoyed their time. We are in the process of completing a second 12 session class...However, one of my daughters, who has epilepsy, was recently refused service due to her condition. While I understand the need to prioritize safety, the lack of clear communication, empathy, and accommodation was upsetting.

To make matters worse, the facility refused to provide a refund for the last two sessions, which they canceled without offering any alternative solutions. This has been a frustrating and disheartening experience, especially given the importance of inclusion and understanding for individuals with medical conditions.

I urge the management to reconsider their policies and approach to ensure all customers are treated fairly and with respect.
If I had an option to give 0 start I would... Kelly, the owner was very rude and inconsiderate refusing service to my daughter while she was right there.
My daughter was very disheartened by this and even told me why she had this illness!
A learning process I told my daughter... She will be facing many inconsiderate nuts like her!

Wake Robin Equestrian Centre is a warm and inviting barn where the horses are happy and the people are kind. There are all levels of riders at this barn. The lesson program acknowledges everyone from beginners to advanced riders. If you want to feel 'at home' at a barn, this is the place to ride.

This is the third year that both of my daughters have come here for horseback riding camp, and we have chosen to spend almost every summer since they were 5 years old. Kelly and her team are incredible as always! We've also taken horseback riding lessons here and everything has gone smoothly and our daughters love it! Don't miss this place if you want your kids to experience nature and idyll outside of professional horseback riding lessons!

I have had great experiences there, the horses are gentle and Kelly & her staff are patient & helpful. I think it is important to realize that a horse is a large animal and has the potential to inadvertently bump, knock over or step on a person.
You have to be safety conscious around them at all times, perhaps certain children are not able to attain a standard of behavior that would allow Kelly to feel comfortable ( & liable for) them around her animals.
I have never known her to take money from anyone fraudulently.
I highly recommend this facility, keeping in mind it is a riding academy
offering therapeutic sessions, not a therapeutic facility attempting to treat or diagnose.
Perhaps the expectations exceeded the reality of the facility
