I grew up in LLB and always loved a good V&H burger. The new location is lovey and the food is still delicious! Not as greasy as I remember which is probably a good thing 😅

The burgers are a thinner patty than I remember, but still good. I would probably order a double next time! Great price for what you get.

Mozza fries have a lot of gravy and cheese. The gravy is a little saltier than other places, but it’s still delicious.

I love the flurries here! They are just like Dairy Queen blizzards. Great for a hot day or just a tasty treat.

It’s nice to have a place to sit down inside too, unlike the old location which was just drive through and outdoor seating.

Ok food. I had the cheese balls and a burger. The cheese balls were plain, not like some that another worker brought out the day before. Those ones had a seasoning on that made them taste very good. The burger was similar to Burger Baron. Wanted to use the washroom but it's locked and you have to get a key from the cashier. She was reluctant to give it to me until I said I only wanted to wash my hands before eating.

All other burger places in Lac La Biche BEWARE! VH has got the recipe down pat. Great food. Beautiful establishment. And Cadence ROCKS (pun intended). Definitely coming back asap.

Stopped in for late lunch as we were driving through beautiful Lac La Biche!!
Hubby, a self proclaimed lifetime hamburger foodie, was very happy with an excellent flavorful perfectly cooked burger with lots of toppings.
I was especially surprised and throughly pleased with my large grilled chicken Caesar salad...super fresh crisp bite sized romain and croutons with tubs of shredded Parmesan and dressing to use all of or only as much as you like. I mean don't get me wrong I like a good burger but to have a salad option was just what I wanted today!!
Clean well looked after establishment with clean facilities and friendly efficient staff.

Very nostalgic experience. I haven't been to V&H for more than 15 years. The new location brought me back. The fries and mushroom burgers are the same as they were 15 years ago - still delish! Awesome! Love their gravey. Also had a caramel Sunday to finish, they have soft serve ice cream. The caramel sauce didn't seem very authentic. Would love to try one their blended coffee ice cream and their chicken snack packs. Life the ambiance of the building with the old photos of lac la biche on the wall. A must try when in Lac La Biche.

Stopped by on our way through town. Had a poutine, cheese and bacon burger, and a chocolate shake. Poutine and shake were awesome. Burger was not great. Would have been 5 stars for food if the burger wasn't meh.
