An incredible experience visiting the lush green main campus of University of Calgary! Accessibility to and fro campus with public transport is extremely convenient with multiple bus stops inside the campus and the University C-Train station, which is well connected to the campus by a flyover pedestrian bridge. Ample parking spaces inside the campus also make it convenient to come to the campus in your personal vehicle. You will also find campus directories at regular intervals to navigate around the campus, along with multiple walkways which lead to different buildings and departments. The campus is quite big, with multiple departmental and administrative buildings such as Schulich School of Engineering, Taylor Family Digital Library, MacKimmie Library Tower, MacEwan Student Center to name a few. The campus also accommodates the iconic Olympic Oval, built for the 1988 Winter Olympics. The diverse range of programs and the vibrant student community make it a great place to learn and grow. University of Calgary is one of the well known educational institutions in Canada and is located in the beautiful city of Calgary. I had a chance to visit this university briefly while I was on my visit to Calgary. The surroundings of this place or nice and they also have beautiful housings for the students.

Very nice. It was so cold that day. The excitement to see the game outweighed the weather conditions. Easy to reach, tickets are very affordable. The game was so exciting Dino’s against Manitoba Bison’s and the Dino’s won. My family loved the experience. There was some merch, and face painting for the kids.

I attended the University of Calgary, and while the education itself was good, the administrative processes feel like a money grab. The university forces students to use a third-party service, MyCreds, for essential documents like official transcripts and letters of accomplishment but offers little guidance on how to navigate the system. I paid for all the necessary documents to have them expedited to apply for my master's program and change of my registration, only to find out that I still have to wait until just days before convocation for set documents to actual be recognized. What's the point of offering this service if students have to wait regardless and still pay extra fees? Isn't that what tuition should cover or the job of admission It feels like I'm doing the administration's job for them while paying them for it. Really disappointed.... like any other institution is all about the money.. So, heads up: if you want to go here, get ready to do their job for them and happily pay them.
