The local university, pretty affordable for domestic students but like other universities they charge an arm and a leg for international students. The campus in Abby itself is not bad, they have a few decent places to get food or drinks, the professors are hit or miss and the services as well such as tutoring or mental health support. It depends who you get appointments with but they are always booked far in advance. Did graduate from there recently and am going back for another semester or so but not your dream university, sorta just a university.

I completed the Building Service Worker course online in October of 2023. This course taught me so much about the janitorial/custodian industry and how to prepare best for upcoming opportunities. Being online, it allowed me to be able to learn and work at my own pace, as well as get to know my classmates during meetings. Instructor Darin was awesome. I appreciated the extra time he took to encourage each student to participate as a group and make sure everyone understood the content. I now work for a community centre as a janitor, so it’s safe to say that I completed my goal. Thank you!

Teaching is good, however in student accommodation they will threaten to kick you out before your semester is over unless you pay them more money. As an exchange student myself, this means threatening me with homelessness for their rest of my exchange program. They only care about making money, nothing else.

DO NOT GET ADMISSION HERE. especially in PBD analytics. it is a new program and they have not designed it well. they have added high-level programming and are giving admission to students without programming knowledge and then failing them to get more fees as retakes. I have to write this as anonymous. they have the worst teachers and 50% classes is being failed even after getting a D grade (D grade is a passing grade). people with grade D are being asked to retake the exam as the university is not satisfied with marks (D is passing grade and university satisfaction should not matter as long as students are passing) It is a waste of your money because they will not let you pass.
Their coordinator JULIE CROFT this women never listens and as soon as you give her logical reply on email she stops replying to your email. this is the level of work she does. she talks to each student personally and then gives false information. she told one student that if they do not get good grade they wont get work permit (she is full of uselessness). Their stat professor Tariq Narruddin he does not teach well and then fails students he does not like. he passes students who makes food for him and he loves flattery. one professor Ao Ao Feng he teacher programming and he teaches to himself not to class and then he says he cannot slow down because he has to complete syllabus. I am currently in the process of writing letter to IRCC regarding this as i contacted IRCC and they asked me write an official letter to them. i hope they will do something.

Like a pencil without a lead.
Looks good until you need things to work.
The Computer labs are crashing constantly.
Textbook choices are outdated and not ACA nor ADA compliant.
They depend upon the kindness of Professors to make it work.
