Alison and other instructors are really nice. They taught us with patients and take care of us all the time. Edith lake is very peaceful and suitable for experience sup. We had a great time here.

I happened upon Edith Lake on a hike. I saw the Translucid outfit and was curious since I’ve never tried SUP before.

So a couple of days later, I thought I would give it a try. Lake Edith is a wonderful clean, warm lake to explore and try SUP. Much of the lake is quite shallow.

Alisen and the rest of her crew were top notch. They were friendly and welcoming. Alisen provided a great 10 min orientation to help give me some tips and orientation. I was comfortable paddling in the water in no time. I rented a board for an hour and was able to go to the far north end of the lake and back. Had tons of fun. Prices are more than reasonable as well. I’ll definitely come back next time to do this again! (I also had a great swim afterwards. The lake is superb.)

I have now rented paddle boards through translucid adventures about 4 times now, each time has been a great unique experience the staff is friendly and provides service not only do they ensure a good time but also a safe one with their demonstrations and safety equipment will be going back again 😁

Beautiful small lake near Jasper with sandy beaches, picnic tables, and parking. Lots of shallow water with incredible aqua, blue, teal colors. Good place to kayak and paddle board. Good hammock trees too!

We had SPECTACULAR experience with this shop! ❤️

All the staffs were super nice and friendly.

My dog was allowed to board on their paddle board. Thanks to them, my family got to make such a wonderful memory at Edith Lake.

Edith Lake may be less popular than Lake Louise, but experience with Translucid Adventures will make your visit at Edith Lake special!

Oh, their pricing is also friendly. Much cheaper than the rates in Banff.

Beautiful little beach out of the way of the mayhem of the main strip of Jasper. Sand is nice and water is mild for a mountain lake. You'll always see someone on a SUP. There is decent parking and access to the beach is s ho ort from the parking lot. If Edith Beach is busy, walk across the way and check out Annette whose waters and beach are every bit as good and perhaps even a little more kid friendly due to the shallow waters.
