For an older building I feel they have done their best at upgrading. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean. If your expectations is a high class hotel, move on. I loved the feeling here. All staff was so friendly. The tavern is a very cozy place. We missed the last call for food but the menu sounds really good. We will definitely come here again.

If I could give more than 5 stars for service I would. Excellent staff who were incredibly understanding as a wildfire broke out only kilometres from town. Rooms are clean and well appointed, the restaurant is great, and the grounds are beautiful. Definitely the place to stay.

Nakusp is a pretty town and The Lodge sits in well on Main Street. The staff were most helpful. My Dad and I stayed in the double queen room, in a separate block to the main facility, they all face on to a shared parking lot. The beds were very comfortable, a good number of soft pillows, bathroom facilities good and (like the whole room) spotlessly clean. Fridge and coffee maker present as expected, however, unusually for a Canadian motel/hotel room, no microwave. Other than that, excellent and highly recommend.

Friendly and accommodating service. Clean room with very comfortable bed. Good quality soaps and lotions, which are available for purchase.. Quiet. I had a really good meal here and then a sound sleep. It’s the place to stay while in Nakusp.

Power went out in town, the lodge was the only place with generator power.

Staff was beyond busy, but still took great care of us. Food was delicious, and drinks were as well. Lots of gluten free options as well.

Great spot, lots of options, you wont be disappointed.

We had been in our room for a few hours when a forest fire started a few kilometers from town. They refunded our rooms without us asking, and brewed us fresh coffee for the ride home. They made a stressful situation manageable.

Excellent service, well appointed rooms, great location right by the boardwalk. Front desk staff went above and beyond to help us out. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The bed was a huge surprise, it was the most comfortable bed with great pillows and very fluffy towels. The room was huge and clean. The staff were beyond friendly and our meals were fabulous. Close to the Lake and the towns stunning Spicer’s Gardens. Wish we had another day in Nakusp at the lodge.
