What a beautiful space—I could rave about this place for days! Nat & Nick are incredible hosts. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout, you could tell they truly love to host and are thinking about the details that will add to your experience. We came for a girls' weekend to celebrate my Mom's birthday, and we could not have found a better spot to put the world on hold and just enjoy our time together. We felt at home right away and had everything we needed (and more!) to feel comfortable—including space heaters to keep toasty, usb outlets in the power bars for extra easy device charging, enough blankets to make a serious blanket fort in the loft (my daughter thanks you!! Also for the hot chocolate & microwave popcorn!), extra pillows, more than enough towels, no chance of running out of coffee (we are coffee fiends so this was a huge plus), a kitchen stocked like home, and so many books, games, puzzles & records to explore that you might even wish for bad weather to keep you indoors! Every room in the cottage had its own charm—even the bathroom was a fantastic place to be. We were lucky enough to see the lake frozen over and some truly remarkable sunsets. Stunning views all around, inside and out! We loved everything so much that we hope to make this an annual trip—but I seriously doubt we will be able to wait a full year to come back!

Perfect getaway close to home!

We loved every detail of the Selkirk cottage from Starbucks coffee, to a spacious shower and my favourite board games. The overall flow of the cottage felt bigger than its square footage & that’s thanks to their keen eye for design. It was thoughtfully planned, labelled and decorated. If you are looking for a cottage that has character, beautiful sunsets and tells a story, this is for you. The beds were super cozy, the hot tub was really clean. I brought extra items to keep us comfortable and didn’t use a single one. They had it all. The attic nook, adorable! The lake view and campfire area was perfect. I kept telling my husband that we need to retire in a place like this. Thanks for a very memorable experience that my family will always remember.

This was our second stay at the LakeHouse in Selkirk and it was amazing again. The house is so cozy, the beds very comfortable and we love the back deck with the hot tub overlooking the lake. We had a fire every night and watched movies and listened to music and just totally relaxed. Thanks Natalie and Nick for sharing!!

Such a cute vibe! This was our second stay with Door 25 at the Lakehouse. It's an easy drive and easy to book. The space is beautiful and the view is what makes this place really special. The hottub and the record collection is a plus.
The cottage is spacious and clean. We will be back .

Stayed at the selkirk lake house. Hosts were very accommodating, place was very clean and everything there you require. Very much enjoyed my stay to relax and recharge and will be returning.
