We walked in searching for a fridge to buy because we just moved in and we needed to buy one then one of the workers Tony helped us very well. The way he talked and laughed with us while searching for one was Amazing. Tony also talked to us as if we weren’t customers but a friend of his because he was so kind, in the end he gave us a good price on everything and was so helpful and even told us about the neighbourhood that we moved into and also talked to us about the school. Overall he was really nice and helpful. After that we were going to leave then we saw a thermostat we wanted to buy then Ankit came over and helped us and told us about the thermostat and how to do it.

It's a Home Depot! They do carry a lot of items, even if you aren't looking for tools and home goods. They have great garden stuff, but a bit pricy. I find the staff are great, but the people at the self checkouts are pushy and kind of annoying. Always staring at you and getting in your way.

My story with the Customer Service Desk is wayyy too long and exhausting to put into words but I will say this.....communication is key. If you tell a customer that you will call them with an update (whether you have one or not)....call them. Don't wait for the customer to make a trip into the store for an update.....especially when it's concerning a significant amount of funds applied to a credit card in error on their part!!

Home Depot has the best paint department anywhere. I would never go anywhere anywhere else.
I went there today, April 23 1 PM. Looking for a very weird and random paint color.
The lady there helped me endlessly. And then Bayne found it in the computer and mixed me up a batch.
There was also another man there with shorter hair. He’s been there a long time. He’s cheerful and so very helpful. All of the staff do not rush you. They all are cheerful and happy to help you. I wouldn’t go anywhere else from my paint or supplies.
They rock!

Returned a wall sconce I purchased online (just changed my mind). The woman at the customer service desk had no clue what she was doing. I paid $50 gift card and the rest on credit card. After slowly getting through the transaction (taking way longer than it should) she told me the total amount went back on my credit card. That is NEVER how refunds work! I said I wasn’t comfortable leaving without the $50 gift card but decided my time wasn’t worth arguing with someone with 1 brain cell. So I got in my car and immediately called Home Depot customer service. They issued me an e gift card right away because as it turns out.. I was right! The total amount DID NOT go back on my credit card.
If you’re going to work the return desk, you should at least know how refunds work. I shouldn’t have to call customer service to get the rest of my money back. She also had a bad attitude because I tried telling her that the print out didn’t prove the full amount went back on my credit card 🙄

Updating my review, Home Depot now has stepped up to the plate and actually delivered the flooring to the location we needed to. We are now very pleased with the outcome of this transaction .
It doesn’t change the original interaction that we had with the flooring, but they did finally step up and make it right.
So disappointed with Home Depot. We had done a lot of business in the past with good results. Unfortunately, this time when we were ordering flooring, it did not go well. We spent close to $5000 in flooring. We were not informed of the $75 delivery fee. We were also not informed it was a curbside. We received an email after the delivery truck was on the street, Which informed us of the curbside delivery and how to prepare for delivery.
We were trying to order the flooring through the flooring department, but No one was available because they were on their break. We waited for 20 Minutes and no one showed We were told they would be back in five minutes. So we ordered the flooring through the customer service desk. The flooring was for a condominium unit and the condo needed the flooring delivered to the back door. They couldn’t do that because of potential damage to the truck, But we were not informed of any of this until 20 minutes after the truck arrived. None of this was communicated till after the fact. Found out Home Depot. Contracts this delivery service out.
The people we talked at Home Depot on the phone were pleasant, but unfortunately nothing they could do to solve our problem. We ended up having to send the flooring back.
Communication is key and Home Depot did not Communicate well with us. It will be a long time before we will do business with Home Depot again.

I had a bad experience at Home Depot yesterday with respect to product available, just not on shelves, resulting a long wait. However, I wish to say that Mike, his helper and Liberty (at check out) were very helpful and pleasant and there was not room on the survey to mention their names. Hope this is helpful to them.

My daughter and I went in yesterday and we were looking at a Ryobi lawnmower that was on display and we decided we were going to purchase it. I asked one of the employees where I would find a trolley. He informed us outside. My daughter went out to get one and came back in. We struggled to get it on the trolley while workers watched us. No help whatsoever. Here I am a senior and my daughter has health issues. As we were approaching the checkout we noticed it advised us to get a blade for it. There was a worker coming towards us, elderly man, and we asked where we would find them. He said go here and it should be down that aisle. I looked at my daughter and said ....really? I then replied back and said can you show us where and help us. He took us there and they didn't have the size we needed but told us to get the bigger one it should work. Did he think we are stupid. There was no way it would fit. We told him forget it then and we weren't going to purchase the mower then. He never helped us return it to the shelf so here we are struggling yet again to put it back on the shelf. He was useless.
We have never been so disgusted with customer service...lack of actually. I think you need to educate your employees to quit talking with other staff members and help customers. You might make more sales.
There wasn't a 0 rating so I gave you a 1 which you didn't deserve. Very poor service!!!!
