The short term stay of my dreams!! Taralynn was such an amazing host, making sure I had fun seasonal things like snowshoes to explore the grounds, as well as helping me out when a large snowstorm hit the area! You have a great amount of privacy without feeling too isolated and can hear plenty of wildlife morning and night. My dog and I enjoyed exploring the grounds, and particularly enjoyed exploring the creek just down the driveway. The house is cozy and warm, and just like the photos. The beds were warm and comfortable, the couches soft and plentiful (4!!), and the hammock swing in the outer living room was a favourite spot to relax with my morning coffee. I definitely lucked out being able to stay here 🥰

My partner and I spent ~4 months here with our dog when we in the process of moving to the island. The location is very private while still only being a short drive to the amenities of Summerside. We loved having access to the walking trails through the woods. The home itself is very comfortable and spacious and equipped with everything you could want or need. The bedrooms are large and the 2 bathrooms make for plenty of space to comfortable accommodate 2 adult couples or a family with children. We stayed during the fall/winter, but the large deck would have been an absolute joy in the summer!

Stayed here as the last stop on our family cross Canada road trip from Vancouver, and this was by far our favourite accommodation. The house was cozy yet spacious, super clean, and welcoming. Tara was very kind and always available if we had any questions. The property is stunning and private, with a lovely deck and fire pit that we got some good use out of. There’s lots trails through the trees too which we loved. One of which leads you to a private beach! The house is also less than 15 minutes from Summerside so there wasn’t any problems getting taxis to and from the city after a few drinks. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

The Coastal Cowgirl Retreat is an absolute gem in PEI! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at ease. The property is stunning – peaceful, beautifully decorated, and full of charm. Every little detail was thought out with care, from the cozy linens to the unique coastal-cowgirl touches throughout the space.

Whether you're looking to relax, recharge, or explore the island, this retreat is the perfect home base. The views are breathtaking, and the vibe is warm, laid-back, and authentically PEI. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming of our next stay. Highly recommend – it’s a magical spot you won’t forget!

I can't recommend the Coastal Cowgirl Retreat enough! My friends and I had such a fun 3 night stay here. The perfect quiet retreat for some quality time with loved ones. If you need a place to stay while in PEI, this is it. We can't wait to come back!
