My work takes me to small towns across North America and this diner is top-notch.

The owners greeted us as soon as we entered and brought out their world-class coffee as soon as we sat down. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was by far and away the best I’ve ever had. The portions were huge, the food quality was exceptional, and to top it off the bread was homemade!

For the size of the town, Smoky Lake is lucky to have an eatery of this quality. If you’re ever in the area, or looking for a reason to take a road trip, this place is worth the visit.

A super addition to our community. Great location next door to the post office. Evolving menu with great additions. Lots of board gams, and free Edmonton Sun, EdmontonJournal, and others. Cappachinos, lattes, expresso's and house blend. Daily specials.

We were in Smoky Lake, Alberta, for a hockey tournament with the kids and ended up at The Blackberry Eatery—and wow, what an incredible find! From the moment we walked in, the owners were so kind and welcoming, it felt like visiting family.
I had the Bacon & Eggs with my eggs cooked over medium, and it was perfect. The bacon was crispy, the eggs were just right, and the homemade bread with strawberry jam was such a nice touch. I also had a latte that was delicious, and we wrapped up the meal with deep-fried ice cream that was just out of this world. Honestly, everything we tried was spot on.
For the quality of food and the warm service, the prices were surprisingly low. The atmosphere is perfect for families. They had a bunch of board games for both kids and adults, which kept our group of hockey players busy. It was such a fun and relaxing way to end the day.

If you're ever in Smoky Lake, you have to check out The Blackberry Eatery. Great food, amazing people, and such a cozy vibe. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

Amazing people run this bespoke eatery in Smoky Lake! It was one of the very best chicken quesadillas I’ve ever had! Hat’s off to the chef and full team at this fantastic cafe! Will be back and would recommend anyone to enjoy their hospitality and warm atmosphere!

Excellent homemade food! Fun time out with family and friends to play some board games and have a fun and interactive activity right in town! Open late Fridays and saturdays which is great to have an activity in town to do on the weekends
