Went in for custom pressure socks. Poor experience relating to the interaction with the sock fitting lady. Was not friendly and was argumentative about what my benefits covered. Will not be returning… socks are decent though.

BE CAREFUL WITH THE COMPOUNDS!

I have been using Synergy Pharmacy for a few years for all my daughter's medications as most of them need to be done as compounds. I called in for a refill of one of her medications and had a quick convo with the pharmacist at the time about how much I wanted and was told I could pick up the next day.

Went and picked up the meds and got them home and went to draw up a syringe for my daughter when I noticed an odd dosage chart on the bottle. At first I thought maybe wrong chart got added as my daughter had been on this med for months and it wasn't new. Upon closer inspection of the bottle, I noticed they upped the concentration of her medication and never told me.

I called in to find out what happened and had the "pleasure" of speaking with Amy. She was immediately defensive and told me it had to have been my fault and that I asked for the concentration to be upped..ummmm no, I asked for a larger quantity, for 30 days and that's it. I'm pretty sure I don't have the authority to demand a higher concentration than what the doctor wrote. She was very belittling and told me it was my fault but did eventually say, "someone should have told you about the change".

The next day I spoke to Terrance who explained what happened and also reiterated that someone should have notified me of the medication change. Nobody ever did.

Had I not noticed the change, it could have had very serious consequences for my child.

They need to have more accountability when it comes to these compounds. With a pill, I can check to make sure it's correct. With a compound, I need to trust that they did their job correctly and this time they neglected that responsibility and all I got was "oops".

They very much need to review their policy and procedures for these situations as stated before, the outcome could have been very dangerous for my daughter.

It is my pleasure to do this review because my experience in Synergy pharmacy was amazing. The pharmacy has a friendly and lovely staff, always willing to help and provide an excellent customer service. They are very professional and have a wide knowledge. I am a pharmacy assistant and they give me the opportunity to do my practicum there so I can say that every single day they work with the same professionalism, providing the best service to all the customers. I was a customer of this pharmacy for 4 years - including a period where I was dealing with a large number of prescriptions as my doctors worked through a series of possible medications to deal with an ongoing issue. This meant that I was sometimes dealing with changes in prescriptions as often as every 6 weeks, and had up to 6 prescriptions active at any one time.

Throughout this challenging time, I found that every single member of the Synergy team working in the pharmacy was knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely invested in supporting my health.

all of the staff go above and beyond for you. They take their time to explain everything to you if needed. The customer service is always going above and beyond for everyone and they always treat you with a smile on their faces and willing to next the next step for you even if it is not asked for. I have used this pharmacy for several years and I still feel and I am treated with trust and understanding. They also will take you to the side and discuss matter in another room to see what you are or aren't comfort with. Huy is the best manager I have seen in a very long time. He always has a smile on his face and is always looking out for patients and trying to get the best deal for the patients.
I can go on and on about Synergy and their superior skills and the way they treat patients. Exceptional customer service!!

I wanted to take the time to thank the staff for the excellent service and for always taking the time to explain things like prescriptions and or Vaccines that myself and family have received. We live in Edmonton, and this location is always worth the extra drive for the personalized service. Be safe this season and look forward to our next vist!

Everyone is polite and professional. They definitely go above and beyond. Faxing requests to my physician for various prescription refills etc. and seem happy to do this! I continue to use Synergy Pharmacy even though I live quite far away because of the service.

I went into get my blood pressure checked at the request of my physiotherapist just upstairs in the same building. He took his time to help me with the equipment and took time to explain things with me based on my symptoms. Highly recommend this man. Very pleasant and willing to help.
