Dr Trouli was my family doctor for a few years. I recently moved to New Brunswick, and needed some forms filled out for a government job application. I called and explained that I don't have a doctor here, and the forms were related to medical history she dealt with. I was told that Dr Trouli agreed to fill them out, but that she had 30 days legally to do so. I waited 23 days, just to hear from a staff member, after having to follow up myself multiple times, that Dr Trouli refuses to fill out the forms because I haven't had a follow up appointment for something irrelevant to the forms. If she had simply opened my chart when the front end staff asked her originally, she could have very easily seen the circumstances and not wasted 23 days of my life. They also refuse to do over the phone appointments for things that do not require physical exams. There is zero respect in this office for anyone's time but the doctors and never an apology to follow.

I come here for lung tests once a year. All the réception staff are always so friendly. The doctors are also very friendly and always make me feel very comfortable. I have a different person do my lung tests when I come in and have never had a bad expérience.

So close to recovery, and my doctor puts me right back at the start with his garbage attitude! Then your doctor's boss tells you to go find another doctor because he doesn't want to deal with the bad attitude! Admits he wasn't at the appointment to see the gross treatment from the doctor, but tells you how to fix it!
I was here for mental health, but it's obviously too far down the list of concerns for them. Should've done what I was going to do in the first place and saved my self months of hell!
Perhaps if Mel didn't take such pleasure in talking to patients, with concerns about his employees, with such a condescending attitude this facility would operate pretty decent

I have been a patient at Synergy for 5 years, including dealing with some substantial health challenges. My experience with this clinic needs to be broken into two parts.

The first part concerns the doctors. I've been seen by Dr. Forsberg, Dr. DuSang, and Dr. Johnson. All three have been excellent within their areas of practice, and have provided very good care while being very much willing to listen.

The second part is the nursing, administrative, and support staff.

In addition to excessive periods (minimum 5 minutes, often over 10 minutes) spent on hold every time I call in, I have had a wide variety of significant challenges:

-When calling in due to a case of pneumonia, I was transferred to the nurse. After asking a series of questions, she indicated that she would call me back. Three hours later when I called in to follow up, the receptionist said "oh, she must have forgotten to call you back."

-When calling in to follow up, I waited on hold for 7 minutes, and then the person answering the phone immediately hung up on me.

-When calling in concerning that same case of pneumonia, the earliest appointment that I was offered was 4 days into the future. When I questioned that, 30 seconds later, there was magically a "cancellation" 2 hours in the future, meaning that an appointment was available.

-After making an appointment, they called me back (while I was already on the way there) with 20 minutes notice and rescheduled the appointment for 3 hours later.

-When I mentioned to the receptionist that I'd had a huge amount of difficulty with their disorganization, and it had been an ongoing trend throughout 5 years of being a patient, she offered to have the clinic manager call me to hear my concerns. She indicated that I'd receive a call within the next 10 minutes. The clinic manager has not called.

-Throughout the five years that I've been a patient, I've had the same phone number. I've been called on that number by the office numerous times. Despite this, I was sent a letter indicating that they had been trying to reach me to book a physical....and the number that they had been calling is a (403) area code, and is not a telephone number that I've ever had.

To be clear, these six instances of horrific disorganization and internal chaos are only the challenges that I've had in the past 4 months. If I attempted to list all of the times that prescriptions were not sent to pharmacies, referral documents were not sent to specialists, prescriptions were sent to the wrong pharmacy, a pharmacy's request to refill a prescription was ignored until the second or third submission, or forms for drug coverage approval were mysteriously lost or sent to the wrong recipient, this review would become a short novel.

It's unfortunate that access to good quality health care is obstructed by so much disorganization and seeming indifference to the welfare of patients on the part of the clinic staff.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. The communication between staff is awful. The one receptionist my fiance dealt with cost us literally thousands of dollars due to their inability to communicate with each other. My fiance is going to her home country for a medical appointment but had a medical emergency here. She got it all sorted with the exception of a quick visit to see a nurse to get medication. She spoke to a nurse and despite the short notice was told she'd get a call back shortly if they could squeeze her in. The next day however the receptionist told her there was no way a nurse would say that and she would have to come at a later date. This delay cost her thousands of dollars to change her flight, hotel accommodations and move her surgery dates because she could not leave without that medication. In my opinion this is very negligent and very frustrating on our part cause there is no way we can get that money back.

I am shocked to read all the negative reviews for this clinic. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Coughlin in Pod 4 since 2012 or so and we are so pleased with our decision to be at this clinic - even when we lived in Stony Plain, we would make the drive to Sherwood Park for our doctor.

Dr. Coughlin is friendly, knowledgeable, and never makes us feel rushed. He has only been late for a couple of appointments, and only by minutes. While the nurses always seem to be changing, they are always friendly and the receptionists have remained the same and are always helpful.

I would give 0 stars if I could to Dr. Trouli, but would like to say the reception/nursing staff/doctors at the Women’s Wellness Clinic are great.

I have been with Dr Trouli for a total of 4 months, as I was referred to her by my family doctor. In the 4 months, she was late my first appt and I waited 45 minutes past my appt time. Then I was cancelled on twice, instead of trying to fit you in sooner as a “sorry we cancelled you the morning of” they book you 2-3 weeks out. Today I had my rescheduled appt with Dr. Trouli and instead of saying sorry for the cancellation, she argued with me for 5 minutes that she only cancelled me once not twice. That is irrelevant at this time, try being apologetic versus argumentative. Very unprofessional, I wouldn’t recommend booking with her unless you are ok with being continuously cancelled on and talked down to. Read her reviews on Rate my MD, they speak for themselves. Beware.

My experience with Dr Ruth was very good . She addressed my issues and I was very happy . Sadly when I went to rebook for follow up they wanted $40 before I could return. When they sent an email to confirm for an appointment I made earlier it gave you a choice of saying yes to confirm . I did not confirm because my work schedule changed ,I replied to the text saying I was unable to attend and would call to rebook. They said I missed my appointment . What is the use of the confirmation text if they don’t heed the non confirmation . If I did not confirm I’m not coming . She said I had to call . It does not state that in the text .When I called they said I had to pay missed appointment fee of $40 before coming back. I will follow up with my family Dr .
