I know some have commented decline in services at SCHC. I may depend on your physician and their supportive team?

We have Dr. Maciejko. Her level of care, responsiveness to our families health needs and her MOA, nurses and admin are phenomenal. We had a family doctor in Calgary and I was hesitant to switch but we have had nothing but wonderful care these past 8 years. Our physicians are under lots of pressure and demands. Post Covid needs have increased mental health and health demands. Let’s be kind to our health care professionals and show gratitude whenever possible. I’m grateful for Dr. Maciejko and her team.

All the staff are wonderful, and my family and I definitely lucked out when we were placed with Dr. Yam.
She’s caring, attentive, knowledgeable, and everything a family doctor should be.

We just started coming to this clinic after losing our long term wonderful doctor in Red Deer. I was nervous about what the experience would be like at a new clinic, but our experience so far has been fantastic. Dr. Yam is our GP and she is thorough and thoughtful with her questions. I havent felt rushed at all and I feel like she really cares.
Yesterday my 16 year old daughter had to come in for an urgent issue and she saw the Dr on call, Dr. Nanninga. She said that she was so easy to talk to and spent time educating her on her body while she was there. AMAZING!
The only small improvement I would mention is the phone, I was hung up on twice yesterday. Maybe there's an issue with your phone system? Small issue though. 🙂

Over the last year this clinic has continued to decline in patient care. It started, and continues, with terrible admin. Now patients are getting switched to new doctors with minimal explanation, a nice form letter. The telus app is not user friendly, making it difficult to connect with your doctor. Then schedule a phone appointment and because no one was informed you would have to come in for an appointment first, you have to wait for another appointment. Who knew people's health had a pause button.

By far the best clinic I’ve been to. Dr.Maciejko is absolutely amazing and every single nurse I’ve met has been just as great. They’re always busy here but somehow I’m never waiting long and I never feel rushed at appointments. My concerns were always taken seriously and never overlooked. Even the receptionists are great! Always friendly and answer phones even though I’m sure it’s a stressful job. The online system they have to message your doctor and book appointments is very convenient as well. Would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone.

I'm a new Laurier there. The nurses and Dr Garba are lovely.... but I just spent an HOUR on hold waiting for reception to pick up. It boggles me mind that it would literally be faster for me to drive the 30 minutes there, ask my question and drive the 30 minutes home than it is to call and talk to someone. Reception needs to vastly improve in this area.

Always have to wait way too long for the phone to be answered. Very rarely you speak to anyone cheerful. Near impossible to get booked in for an appointment. A few doctors in the past have given great service however there are others that disregard your issues, literally call you a hypochondriac,leaving you to navigate your issues on your own ; forcing you to find a way to bypass them to see another doctor, where I discovered I had fairly major issues and require biopsies regularily. Our healthcare system is terrible in many ways. Wonderful if you've had an accident or very clear issues, but they do very little to address real health.

Just wanted to ‘Thank Everyone’ for helping my son out today with CABS & Pharmacy Delivery. I waited on hold for too long, 1.5 hrs, but the service made up for the wait!! He needed urgent care and I was too far away, Thank You for stepping up for me !!
