We dealt with Sweenys for my grandmothers funeral back in June, and my family was absolutely grateful for their professionalism and kindness. Everything was handled so well and everyone who works there were so easy to deal with during such a difficult time. Sweeny's Funeral Home has been a major corporate sponsor for Yarmouth Minor Hockey for a few years! Always willing to help out our teams play the sport they love to play! Also, has been a top contributor for the JStong Ball hockey tournament so many teams could register! Without support such as Sweeny's Funeral Home kids would not play. Great contributor for our community & always willing to help! Good work Charles & team!

Absolutely appalled by their behaviour after my mother in law passed away. They use a very unprofessional collections service who calls and screams horrible things at my wife (despite us making an effort to make arrangements but it’s hard to get blood from a stone, or money from the deceased when her husband stole everything she owned and kept it from my wife), and that collection service then used an unprofessional bailiff service who showed up in a jacked up truck, no uniform, beating on my windows and doors for 10 minutes scaring my wife to death. You’d be better off having your loved ones throw you in the woods when you die unless everything’s already been paid.
They charge insane amounts for the most basic, no frills burial and it’s repulsive.
Try not to die, but if you do, do not trust these people to carry out the services.

Excellent work ,Sweeny's Funeral home made the planning of my dad and mom's services so easy they are just so helpful and just so attentive to the loved ones needs and wants for there loved ones I just can't say enough good things about the team at this Funeral home and a huge thank you to all for your help you made a hard time easier
