I have used Sussex insurance for years. Yesterday I went in to renew my truck and trailer registration and insurance. I found the new young east Indian lady quite rude. I definitely will not be returning. Needs customer service skills or adjust your hiring practices. Thankyou, Michael Virtanen

We had to move money over to a different due to the other account card was lost. As we were accepting the transfer the phone died. Just made it so we could not pay for the insurance and transfer leaving a stranded in the parking lot because there's no other leaving a stranded in the parking lot because there's no other way to get money as we were on the island and we are from Vancouver and nothing was open because it was 10 to 7:00 at night.

So we rushed to charge the phone but it would not take a charge very fast. Now here comes the reason they got the five stars.

It is now 5 after 7:00 and they were closed and we were literally stranded cuz we could not get any insurance and we had to catch a ferry as we was coming down to the last ferry and it was Sunday and of course the fairies as we was coming down to the last ferry and it was Sunday and of course the fairies as we was coming down to the last ferry and it was Sunday and of course the Ferries we're very busy and it was a two sailing way already.

It was now 7:30 and we were and the phone would not take a charge. The two ladies working there that night went above and beyond to get us driving and were able to get us a to b permit or something like that, but it allowed us to drive the vehicle and get to the Ferries and get home. They did this on their own time and stayed well over a half hour pass closing to help to get us home. We are more than thankful that they were working at night and helped us out and definitely deserve the five stars and and me referring anyone that needs insurance or anything that they do there to go there and definitely deal with them as they are willing to go above and beyond to take care of you.

Thank you to the two ladies working that night you really made the night a lot better and a lot stressful and we got home safely.

Some staff are pleasant and helpful, but more often I am faced with rude, abrupt, and condescending attitudes. In future, I will make sure I don’t need to do any insurance transactions outside of common business hours, so that I’m not forced to use this company.

Two weeks ago, on a Sunday evening and twenty minutes before closing I went in to change my policy from "in storage" to back on the road. The rush was an appointment two hours away leaving at 9 am Monday morning, with snow on a mountain pass forecast, something our small sub-compact would not have been up to. Einer was the representative that handled my needs and did the BEST job ever to efficiently and professionally make the changes. I really appreciated his attitude at not rushing or being put out by holding up their closing by about ten minutes. Such great service. Thanks!

I've been here three times and only once did I get professional service. Their personnel do not seem to be professional enough. On the same two price inquiries, different prices were given and could not explain why. And interpreted my temporary driver's license (yellow paper) as a license from another country
