This was a wonderful hotel. We arrived late and the room was ready to go and so beautiful clean. We were so impressed to find a dog park at the back. Our dog had so much fun. The breakfast was delicious. We recommend this too anyone

Rooms were great and comfortable ,had a great gym and pool with slide ,and breakfast .. heads up on the $500 dollar deposit so no surprises little excessive if you ask me but whatever. My biggest problem is kids stay here as well and the staff allows people to drink in the lobby and stairways. Leaving half full calls beers in lobby and empties in the stairways .unacceptable in my opinion.then needed a replacement card and when gave my room key tried it didn't work told the lady and she said I gave the wrong room number .I know for a fact I had it right..had to add to me review to respond to this managers response. Again trying to put blame on others look at your camera before you say that there's no drinking because if you did you job as a manager you would look and confirm instead of implying it wasn't true .sounds like a scummy manager

There is a very obvious positive culture evident amongst the staff at Super 8 Grande Prairie . I cannot speak highly enough of the attention to detail that every staff member is displaying at this location. Constantly cleaning and keeping the entire premises immaculate and healthy. A very honest breakfast bar that is a sweet bonus to your accomodation.
We upgraded from a King Bed room to a Kitchen Suite which was a superb room, full size fridge, kitchen sink and dishwasher. Lounge suite and plenty of room. The Kitchen Suite was definitely a great value upgrade. We also were invited to a dinner supplied by the staff. Very generous gesture that I have never experienced before.
I would have no hesitation recommending Super 8 Grande Prairie and I will definitely be staying there next time I am in GP.
Much Respect to Lourdes and her team, you can be very proud of your work culture that you have created.

Good hotel, accommodating staff. They wanted more words so i suppose this would be my way of saying that essay style reviews should not be expected from people who are precise in life. Hotel was great , but this survey needing 200 words was the crap.||||Hope ya’ll enjoyed the 200 word review.

OK so I checked into the hotel at about 530 on April 1, 2025 hotel was very clean. People were very decent registration and checked in with quite quick and I was able to get to my room very uneventfully.
I requested a quiet room because I’m a very light sleeper
So they put me in room number 102 on the main floor right beside the dining hall
Well, everything was great until about midnight. When some dumbass decided he wanted to turn the TV up and watch TV all night and wake me up. I tried to sleep through it and I couldn’t so at 2:45 in the morning I checked out and here I go.
Upon checkout when the young lady for nights was running my credit card, she handed me my receipt for the room, but she wasn’t gonna give me my credit card receipt. I asked for my credit card receipt. It should be a given that they just give it.
Next, I was looking over my bill and I see there is a sustainability Levy of 2.5% and there is another thing called a safe fee of $2.00….. my room did not have an in suite safe at all.
So between the sustainability levy and the in suite safe fee this hotel is charging their customers an extra in my case $5.75 a night… if you multiply that by 100 rooms when they’re full and by the looks of this parking lot, they were pretty full. This company is taking more money from their customers than they need to. I’ve stayed at various other hotels in the Grand Prairie and Claremont area and have never been charged a sustainability levy of 2.5% or a safe fee.
When I questioned the lady at the front desk, she didn’t know what it was all about. She just said that it’s a standard fee applied to all of their bills.

I have stayed there a two days ago!
I liked everything except the reception customer service! One of the front desk representatives said I will receive my portfolio on email, and After waiting a whole day I called them again and waiting to get that portfolio, again got ridiculous answers on call from representative.

I would definitely say the front staff is so weird there!

Everything is awesome and give 10 star with employee and facilities. We enjoy the stay in the hotel. Especially with pool and slide .having breakfast with friendly staff and delicious food .keep up the good work. ❤️🙏 till next time super 8.
