A hidden gem on Manitoulin Island – pure indian food heaven!

Today I visited Sukhdev On Wheels in M’Chigeeng, Manitoulin Island during our family camping trip, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience!

We tried their Veg Samosa and it was absolutely delicious – crispy on the outside, perfectly spiced on the inside, and freshly made with love. You can truly taste the authenticity and care in every bite. It’s one of the best samosas I’ve ever had – even better than many places in big cities!

As a pure vegetarian, it’s always a challenge to find great-tasting, clean vegetarian food while traveling, especially in remote areas – but this place exceeded all expectations. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the food quality was top-notch.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Manitoulin Island – whether you're vegetarian or not, their food is a must-try!

Will definitely come back again!

Best Indian food you will get in Mainitoulin island. Samosa chat, Cardamom tea is best. All other vegetarian options are good as well. Best service by Sukhdev on wheels team.

We are very hungry and craving for fish and chips because we were in manitoulin island. But we came across this food truck which is a short drive from bridal veil falls.
The food was amazing and exceeded the expectations as everything was so flavourful we order bunch of stuff and all their food is kind of an Indian fusion. The butter chicken or Chana masala both had bhatura rice and salad and the respective curries mixed or stacked together but it was surprisingly good and the fish pakora was so good a little less salt and turmeric would def help but overall it was a treat for an empty stomach.
Must visit!

I would not call this Indian food. My husband and I both got butter chicken bowls. They were served on a tough deep fried bread, nothing like naan or roti. The butter chicken sauce and rice were ok, but the salad on top was topped in BBQ sauce. In what world does BBQ sauce go with butter chicken Not a good pairing, in our opinion. The veggie samosas were ok, but were very oily. Service was not amazing either - it look over 20 minutes for our food to be served.
