Fantastic beers served a beautiful old building with lovely woodwork. The staff were very prompt, cheerful and seemed very happy to be there. Would recommend stopping here for a some great beer!

Made a pitstop during a road trip to check out Stronghold. Walking in to the historic building, I was thrilled to see the elements of historical design. Ornate wood features, and a period piece bar perfectly matched the building exterior. I picked up some flights to check out their range. Overall, I'd say their beer is good. Not the best beer I've ever had, and the flavours are more traditional (deep, malty, earthy) instead of the newer trend of breweries leaning towards ultra fruity/tropical etc. The best part of the visit was the extremely large and cute outdoor patio. It was a great place to gather for a few beverages. I would definitely frequent this place if it were in my back yard.

The Stronghold is a fantastic little family run bar, with a fantastic range of in house brewed drinks, that will have your taste buds wanting more. And the prices can't be betten. Not just that, if you and your friends and family fancy a bite to eat, you can order from your favorite pizza store. The atmosphere is a carm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and if it becomes your local, then everyone will know your name and say hi with a smile.

I thought that stronghold actually had amazing beer. Everything we tried was very smooth and tasty. The only thing I can say is that I would love to have food with my beer. I know it's not always possible but thats just what I think. 😁 Amazing beer, keep it up. 💯

We stopped in on our vacation from Ontario,
All of the stronghold beers are fantastic! There is something there for everyone! The brewery itself is a beautiful old building that you can tell they have put a lot of work into! The family that runs this fine establishment are all so kind and welcoming! I wish we lived closer so we could visit again!!

Awesome local pub, nestled in the middle of historic downtown Fort Macleod. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of unique and tasty beers.

Try one of their flights, a pint of draft, or get some to take home. They have a bunch of different options.
