From my experience it was all you can ask for, waited around 15 minutes to be seen by triage and about 35 to get a room, after waiting for about 2 hours I finally got my procedure done with no issues. The staff was very accommodating and kind and helped ease some anxieties. I would definitely come back and recommend to anyone not wanting to drive to barrie. For a lot of these reviews you gotta understand, it's a stressful job and they are hopefully doing all they can and they can only do so much.

Brought my 5 year old son to emergency tonight at 9:45pm with a fever of 40.8.

It's nearly 1am and 7 people of the 10 that were ahead of us have left in frustration. Staff are completely indifferant and actually happy that people are leaving so they can do less.

After 3 hours we're the last ones waiting in emergency and still its been an hour since the last person went into a room.

If those 7 people had stayed we could easily be here until 6am.

At this point I now have to take my son home and hope he doesn't have some serious over heating and die. Thanks a lot Stevenson and Ontario.

Second time in 5 days at emergency with my husband

Staff is excellent, volunteers are wonderful

They can't do anything about the wait time, I get that

However, my one complaint is that the washroom in the ER waiting area IS NOT ACCESSIBLE!! Thankfully I only have a walker, not wheelchair bound, so I could park it and limp in.

Fix this, you're a hospital, you see LOTS of people with mobility issues, it is not legally or morally acceptable.

I also understand there's construction going on, maybe there's already a plan in the works to upgrade, but it should have been addressed years ago.

I was born in Alliston , and have continued to use there service for 60 years until today . I called to book mammogram as I do every 2 years and have had the best service until
Today. The woman was rude over talked me and spoke down to me . Sadly I booked elsewhere. Very sad Alliston hospital has come to this ! Also would like to mention I had my daughter there in the 90s . Lost my father there in late 90s . Sad to come to this.

Today I had a great experience at this hospital. Everyone completed my tests very quickly, and I can't say enough about how kind and professional my specialist doctor was. He treated me with such respect, and to help calm me down, he even started speaking in my own language. I wish I knew his name so I could mention it here, but I do know that he was a urologist with Iranian background who was born in Canada but could speak Farsi. 😊

SHOCKING. If given the choice between no health care this a one step above. Left in this room for hours not even acknowledged by staff leaving the lunch room. SMH it’s horrible. But again on a scale of NO health care to the best this is one step above nothing.

Daughter arrived about 3 pm Saturday.
Waited about 5 hours. 8 people waiting.
Someone walked in who apparently works there and went straight back to be treated with a minor complaint.

So the takeaway is tell someone at triage that you work there and bypass the line.

How can the service be that slow ?

Is the attending physician taking a 20 minute golf lesson in between patients ?

Email the hospital ombudsman and file a complaint.
