I had to go to the emergency room and the reception was prompt. courteous and thorough.
The nurse in triage evaluated me and got me in as soon as possible. My nurse is Charlotte and Natalie were absolutely amazing, kind, courteous sensitive to my situation and extremely professional.
Thanks Adie CT scanner guy for the pleasant conversation while explaining the procedure.
Thank you Dr Hervieux attending ER doctor for being thorough and explaining the procedures that were happening and why.
But most important of all, thanks for letting me order pizza.
Thank you so much y'all for taking care of me.
So now I've been moved up to the fourth floor.
Of course when you're admitted, you get all crazy things running through your head.
The nursing staff are all so amazing.
They kept me calm.
Listen to me when I was telling silly stories just made me feel like things will get better and they will.
Meghan, Lori, Chris, and the doctors who were clear and informative while explaining my situation, also everybody else when I may have missed.
Thank you.
Daniel May

My best friend has been waiting for a surgery since last year. She has a tumour and she has been giving the run around and no information as to when she will have the surgery to get it removed. She is constantly in pain and will have to be rushed to the ER, where the nurses then make her out to be a pill junkie. I can understand the nurses being understaffed but that give you no right it to belittle patients. Do better !

It's awesome you don't have to pay for parking. Wait time in emerge was a bit long, we got here around 9AM and at 2:30PM so coming up on six hours and we haven't been to xray yet. The lady at triage was rude. When we went up to the window she just snapped at us to go sit down because they were busy with another patient. She didnt take our name or ask what had happened anything at all so not sure how they keep track of who is waiting or how severe their injuries are.

Had day surgery. All admin, nurses and doctors very caring and welcoming. I felt very safe and listened to. A smile from the staff goes a long way when your far from home in unfamiliar place. Keep up the good work.

Been staying here about a week as a medical escort for my mother. We are in from Inuvik. The hospital is beautiful. Very modern and clean feeling. The cafeteria is the worst tho. The food is mediocre and overpriced. I was hit with a $20.50 bill for a couple small pieces of chicken and some cabbage rolls. Holy mackerel. The morning cafeteria lady is rude and inconsistent. My mother wanted a tea bag to take back to the room for later, she was charged over $4 and paid it without thinking. She mentioned it to me and when I asked the caf lady why a tea bag was so expensive I was informed she was charged for a second coffee because I topped mine off before I left the dining area. In her eyes a quick squirt of coffee warrented a full charge for refill. Trying to get condements is like pulling teeth. God forbid u want a second packet of ketchup.

Don't come here alive. Cuz you gonna wait till your dead. Forever waiting at emergency . Everyone taking it pretty easy. No rush anywhere around here. Security guards at the doors are pretty annoying. Can clearly tell they failed the cops school. Be ready to wait 6+ hours just because staff feel for it and too busy chatting with each others. And funniest part is , after 6 hours of waiting, I got told that I should go to clinic another day since they are too busy doing nothing. If I could put zero star I would

Go up
