The staff are an amazing group that really care for their patients. I had an unexpected extended visit recently, and even though our health care system could be better they made the best out of it. If you end up waiting longer then expected in emerge, there’s likely someone else behind the scenes that is more urgent.

I love this hospital very very much. Been admitted here once overnight for my first time ever, three days. It was an enjoyable time :). Im back currently witu concerns over my recent brain surgery. They are again setting the bar at the sky. Everyone who I have ever met who works here should be proud of themselves. I love you guys! You saved my life. You also saved my dads life. Nothing but respect and love to you all from hopefully your favorite epileptic haha. Well maybe ex if the surgery worked. This hospital is a cut above some of the others around Ontario I have found myself in.

I arrived here this morning and was able to be seen within 30 and immediately taken to a room where l saw the dr within the hour. I was treated very well by everyone I came in contact with Overall I was there about 6 hours but I was kept comfortable and warm and more importantly informed for the whole time. Thank you team

The online bloodwork form doesn't work and when you call to ask for an appointment, the receptionist says it's a problem with your computer and is rude when you ask if she could book an appointment for you. I've tried the form on 4 different devices and on across 3 different days. If the online form is being a problem, please let me call and book my bloodwork over the phone.

Do not come here if you are suicidal or in any sort of crisis, WHATSOEVER

I was tied to a bed for 72 hours while being drugged by the staff repeatedly with massive doses of ketamine 200mg+ mixed with lorazepam (4mg) per injection and laughed at thru the tiny slit window by staff unwilling to allow me to urinate i was forced to urinate and defecate on myself while strapped to the bed for 3 days because I had punched a wall and attempted to escape the hellish experience by running out the door (there were police in the way) i was then slammed against the wall and chokeslammed into the bed by no less than 7 police officers, after this they were trying to restrain me to the bed, as this was occuring an extremely large heavy officer placed his entire body on the back of my lungs so i couldnt breathe (i have asthma and CoPD)... I was desperately attempting to convey this and they told me that if i can speak i can breathe...

I still deal with chronic nightmares, panic attacks and ptsd directly from this incident 2 years later.

I am beyond a broken person specifically thanks to the staff at this hospital. Thank you for taking away the possibility of me ever being content or happy in any capacity for the rest of my life.

They would rather you be dead

I was discharged whilst still being actively suicidal and mentally unstable.

They do NOT care. They are more concerned about their feelings being hurt over someone in crisis swearing (not at them mind you, just swearing in general) apperently this hurt the urgent response teams poor little feelings so much that she hung up on me and said call back when you are able to not swear.

DISGUSTING if you are reading this. I almost jumped off of a bridge that night thanks to you. One day you will push someone over the edge to actually take their life. This facility should be shut down. It make me physically sick when I have to come anywhere near this place.

I would rather drive an hour and a half WHILE IN CRISIS MIND YOU to the Owen sound hospital where they are actually competent and compassionate about your life.

This place is nothing short of a joke. Been waiting in emergency waiting room for 6.5 hours now. Other people have been here longer than me and yet people keep coming in and get seen right away which to me is not right. I realize there's doctor and nurse shortages but I shouldn't have to pack a lunch and an overnight bag just to go to emergency depot.

This hospital is a joke. I literally only come here for emergency situations or because this hospital is closer than Goderich. What a mistake. It is better to go all the way to Goderich which is an hour extra drive to get help. The receptionist are rude and unhelpful in every aspect. The volunteers were more helpful than any actual staff. DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE FOR ANYTHING, and I mean anything. It’s like pulling teeth trying to get your health looked at by anyone there.
The Doctors are decent, but to get to them seems nearly impossible.
After the fact. Went to Goderich and was diagnosed with a bartholin cyst, had to have surgery on Saturday to drain it, and will never go back to Kincardine Hospital.
