This oasis is a treasure! I just had my fifth or sixth visit as this lovely spa and I have been a happy returning guest since Julie’s entire spa was the size of the tea/relaxation room Solace offers now. The gardens have been expanded and the treatment rooms softened up quite a bit. I had a massage with Kindred and my mother thoroughly enjoyed her treatment with Ivy. We were recovering after a death in the family and these ladies got it. There is a hushed, no rush atmosphere. Big improvement on not having guests have to re-enter daily life to offer up a credit card, the new system includes the delightful Megan handling everything for you from the quiet of the relaxation/tea lounge. My one regret is that I did not partake this time, of the water journeys in the forest setting. I was introduced to SpaRitual nail polishes 15 years ago and get compliments on the color. Hooray that Solace still carries it, and I got some updated colors!! Loved my private garden tour viewing backwards growing Lily, Missy Elliott! Don’t miss this place, don’t rush, this is Salt Spring.

My partner and I indulged in the Romance Journey, featuring a blissful 60-minute couple's massage. From the soothing mineral foot soak to the personalized aromatherapy, every moment was crafted for relaxation. The massage itself was exceptional, leaving us feeling rejuvenated and utterly pampered.

Following our massage, we embarked on a private hydrotherapy session, a mesmerizing 2.5-hour journey. With exclusive access to state-of-the-art cedar hot tubs, a refreshing cold tub, and a rejuvenating sauna, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The addition of a selection of beverages, chocolates, and other treats elevated the experience to perfection.

The spa's attention to detail extended to the luxurious bathroom, complete with premium shower amenities and skincare products, adding an extra layer of indulgence.

Surrounded by lush greenery and fragrant flowers, the setting itself is a feast for the senses, enhancing the overall ambiance of tranquility.

I had a beautiful Solace Facial last week with Maia. The grounds are beautiful and transport you to a private, serene and relaxing place. The Solace products are exquisite and natural, I am in love with their face mists and serum. Can’t wait to return soon! Highly recommend if you are on the island and looking for some pampering.

The curation and vibe of the space is impeccable. From the surrounded nature, architecture, to the calming demeanour of the staff, everything is setup to transport you to a place of luxurious relaxation. We’ve been to a number of the high end spas in Ontario (Spa Nordic etc), but what’s sets this apart is the privacy. You’re on your own, or with your partner, and having the spa all to yourself allows for a level of tranquility, that most people never get to experience. For me this was up there with some of the luxury Onsen experiences in Japan. Highly recommended. Also note - it seems like the space has been recently upgraded, so some of the older pictures don’t do it justice.

Looking for a slice of heaven? Well this place might be it! Meghan greeted us with a friendly smile and was awesome in accommodating our couples’ spa service, we couldn’t have been happier. The massage and facial were great but the icing on the cake for me was the private hydrotherapy circuit, let me tell you, a 2 hour booking is a must, even that won’t be enough! The facility was clean and inviting, the waiting lounge had tea, and water, fruits were available in the hydrotherapy area. The products I tried, were the facial cream, lotion and toner mist, they were all very refreshing. First time visiting the spa, can’t wait to go back!

Such a great space! All the staff are very skilled, organized, and kind. I like to sauna and cold plunge often, as it helps my body recover from feeling sore between skateboarding sessions. The hydrotherapy circuit at Solace had a Sauna which heated up quickly and maintained the right amount of heat. The cold plunge which was the perfect amount of cold. The music and atmosphere of the spa was relaxing and helped me feel calm and grounded. I highly recommend anybody visiting Saltspring Island to stop by.
