After driving in my own country for 10 years, I moved to Manitoba and surrendered my driver’s license here —which felt like losing a part of me. I passed the Knowledge Test at this location. Everyone working there was very helpful and understanding. They also conducted my eye test. In fact, they even allowed me to take a second photo because I wasn’t happy with the first one. They were definitely very supportive. In the spirit of women supporting each other, they really made me feel comfortable. I took my first road test in Winkler and the second one in Beausejour. Unfortunately, I failed both tests. I decided to take my third test in Beausejour as well, and I also took a lesson at a driving school before the test. I live just outside Winnipeg, but unfortunately, there is no public transportation in my area. During the time I didn’t have my driver’s license, I struggled both financially and emotionally. If I had failed the third test, I would have needed to take a 5-hour lesson, which meant I wouldn’t be able to go to school or apply for jobs. That’s why I was very stressed. My instructor understood my anxiety and helped calm me down, and I am so grateful to her. She is probably one of the sweetest women I have met since moving to Manitoba. When she told me I passed the test, I thanked her. She said it was my achievement and that I deserved my Class 5F driver’s license, which really boosted my confidence. Both the staff and my instructor were very supportive. I would like to thank them all again. They understood my nervousness and tried to calm me down. When I passed the test, they all congratulated me, and we celebrated. I’m so grateful for all of you, ladies!

I said to myself that If I pass the test, I was going to send food to the street animals in my country, and I fulfilled this promise on behalf of myself, the employees at Beausejour MPI, and my road test instructor. I hope all your wishes come true, and that you achieve all the goals you strive for.

MPI claim for flood water damage. Vehicle has been in a claim since Sept it's now November. Vehicle has not been repaired. Terrible communication. I picked up my vehicle because MPI said the repair is less than the deductible. I picked it up and immediately vehicle is shaking, struggling to drive, rpm is over 3, cruise control won't work, engine is misfiring (haven't touched the vehicle for 2 months at this point) MPI says we have to "prove" it's from the water damage? How wouldn't it be? They have had my vehicle for months and then the second I pick it up it's doing this? I had it diagnosed in my driveway and the engine codes lit up like a Christmas tree, family friend said "engine is misfiring most likely due to water damage" they didn't even know that it was water damage and could tell!!!!! Had a rental for 30 or more days and MPI said I can't have a rental anymore (even though they held onto my vehicle and let it sit there for weeks doing nothing. Estimators told the direct repair shop that there was an issue with power steering, no issue with power steering, repair shop discovered an issue with the horn, the shop never checked the engine because mpi claims it was fine, engine was not fine at all. MPI fed the repair shop incorrect info. Took it to a second shop they can't see it for another month because it's such a specific issue that almost no one in Manitoba is willing to fix, why it wasn't a write off if no repair shop wants to fix a water damaged engine is beyond me. Been paying for Uber back and forth just to get to and from school. MPI has been completely unhelpful in this situation they have dropped the ball completely. Never have I ever had such an awful experience with mpi, I've had horrible issues with them in the past but this takes the cake. Keeping a vehicle from a family who needs it 3 months with no option to rent a vehicle, no write off so we can get a functional vehicle, providing the repair shop with incorrect information and refusing to accept the diagnosis that proves the claim I made in the first place. This claim is still on going and I am just beyond frustrated with their mismanagement. Manitoba needs private insurance like other provinces have immediately, but MPI knows if there was private insurance absolutely no one would chose to deal with MPI again if we had any other option.

Common knowledge not to do a road test here, they will fail you over anything. 3 different times I got the same guy and he made me do three loops around the block and failed me for not having a tight enough right turn when on the last attempt I literally felt my car pivoting on the curb

Good service, but that's it I lost 3 hours waiting for my road test, got my break light fixed right away only to be turned away. I will never contribute to the townships economy ever again, talk about a demoralizing experience. P.s. one guy in the office said he has to wait a year for his road test, not to mention the road lines are all faded and unsafe, Never setting foot in that town again!

This lady named JOYCE CHNAY. Went here with a Child in care who had no ids and just got a birth certificate. I kept trying to tell her that he needs a bank direct deposit because he has no way to get money to eat food. The child was with me and this woman was inappropriately screaming and acting very rudely. She screamed at the end ‘where does direct deposit come from ?’after interrupting me and not letting me even speak a word. Not to say the child was with me at the time this happened and he was morbid about her unsophisticated behaviour. Took her name down to report to the supervisor

This location is great overall but do not do a driver's written test or exam on their computer. They froze up during my timed quiz multiple times.

I don't feel like to leave any questions here because I am not going to get answered properly. I took my friends there couple of times I would say 5 to 6 time at a few weeks but I feel like there examiner is always same guy and he loved to fail certain people from different countries. It was my feelings and I can put my thought what I feel during my visit out there, every time when he fail my friends I read the reason why they failed and I heard his explanation was not acceptable. Every time my friends keep his suggestion and correct the mistakes and went back to Give exam but that examinar failed them again and again and answering them opposite. All I understand and feel he really target to fail them. I think they should have more examinar.
