Usually I have experienced good service here. Today I showed up for my oil change. I was about 10 minutes late. I let the lady who was working service, and clearly overwhelmed know I need to be back in Perth for 11:15am. It was approx 9:10 am. She said something along the lines of "well you're late". I had been assured when booking that the services I had booked would be about 1 hour 15 mins. At 10 am, my car still hadn't even gone in the garage. I told the lady I wanted the keys back, as this would no longer work for me. When I called back, she made a comment about how everybody needs their car back as soon as possible. Which may be true, but I also work by appointment and so if I told a service will be x amount if time I would schedule around it with some cushioning. So I don't just have the luxury of dropping my car off for the day or x amount of unidentified hours, while I live and work from another town when no loaner is available.

It would have been much better service if instead of passive aggressive service, the woman stated they were running over an hour behind, and that perhaps I should reschedule my appointment-instead of letting me sit there for 50 mins when my car hadn't even been started, essentially wasting my time, as such a late start did not leave enough time for me to return to Perth. At what point, had I not checked, would the business have addressed the fact that the services couldn't be completed within the time-line I had stated I had.

This is an awesome place to do business friendly staff and great service. They fixed my Suv twice and I was moving and the first time they hooked me up with a rental. But it was only a couple days and I was back on the road. Service is very knowledgeable and the mechanics know there stuff. Now I am back on the open road thanks to Smiths Falls Kia.
