Nous avons passé de super belles vacances à Banff, Lake Louise et dans la vallée de l'Okanagan à bord de la van. Nous y avons dormi 8 nuits, le lit est grand, confortable et les couvertures sont chaudes. Tout est inclus, super pratique et très rapide à installer / désinstaller. Nous avons apporté une petite cafetière italienne de la maison mais tout le reste était fourni.

We used Smile Campervans for our first trip to the Canadian Rockies. It was the perfect size for a couple on a 12 day road trip. Communication with Michal & his team was efficient and we really appreciated all of the in-depth blog posts available to read before the trip. The van was fully stocked with all amenities needed: cutlery, plates, bowls, cooker, sink, & gas cylinder. Bed was comfy & additional blankets were appreciated for the colder nights (start of September). We had two carry on suitcases & two backpacks between us (managing to stash them beneath the bed) - something we were originally worried about - but the vans are spacious & the thoughtful layout maximises space. Super smooth to drive and a generous km allowance. Also felt very secure at night (big plus) and it was great being able to charge phones / battery packs as we drove along! Cooking was straightforward & we LOVED how easy it was to pull the cooker out and use - then wash up in the sink (definitely appreciated after a long day hiking!). Could do with a few new velcro on the window blackouts (a few had fallen off) & the tent on top whistled slightly as we drove around (if we booked again would ask not to have one, but I'm sure they're great for larger groups!). Overall, we loved our experience and wouldn't hesitate to book with Smile Campervans again, it really makes a difference having a compact van & being able to pull off into smaller places instead of a larger RV!
Thank you for making our trip so memorable & stress free, we'd definitely recommend you to everyone!

*Tip for other campers: bring an Aux cable so you can listen to music going along & a good old fashioned map (no signal in most of the parks).
P.S if you're thinking of booking it, just go for it. Best adventure we've been on!

This is the only van you will ever need for your next camping trip in Banff NP.
2 weeks in August 2024
It was our first time sleeping in a campervan.
And I must say, I don’t miss sleeping in a tent anymore hahaha.
The bed is very comfortable, plenty of room for both me and my husband.
It is so convenient, that we just pull in the camp site, able start cooking right away, changing is so easy in the van. We experienced rain for a few nights. Sleeping in the van made it so safe and comfortable. At certain campsites, we just drove the van to cooking shelter and drove to showering building. Changing in the van is so comfortable too.
Everything that is needed for an enjoyable camping trip is there : cooking utensils, cups, dishes, .. even a refrigerator, 2 chairs, blankets.
Every setup in the van is well thought out.
We had a wonderful time in the van for the entire 13 days with no problem at all.
If there is one thing needs to be done, it will be the curtain.
I would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Me and my boyfriend rented a camper van for 10 days in June and it was one of the best experiences we ever had. The van had everything we needed and we didn’t encounter any issues. Michal was very friendly and helpful (with advice about the van but also for the hikes we were going to do). He was always quick to reply to any of our questions and the rental process was very easy.

Rented a van for 1 week with my girlfriend to explore bc middle of august 2024. I have nothing but good things to say about the van and the experience. If you’re looking for a good road trip experience and don’t want to spend a fortune on an rv or larger converted van this is the place. Michal includes everything you need to camp off the grid. Unlike other spots where basics are an added rental fees such as stoves, utensils etc. The vans are set up great and are easily set up for sleeping in a few minutes. From the moment I booked the van to pickup and drop of everything was seamless, Michal and his staff are great to deal with, explain everything in detail, happy to answer any questions you may have and will help you plan your trip or give you pointers if you have something planned already. Wouldn’t hesitate to deal with smile camper vans again for my next vacation.

We had an amazing trip for 2 weeks. The bed is super comfortable and the whole kitchen setup is really convenient and thought through. Will definitely rent with Michal again when we are back!

We had an amazing time with our rental from Smile Campervans. It was a easy and hassle free pickup and dropoff. Owners were very nice and helpful when we called. We got to explore 5 Natl Parks in Canada and 1 in the states. The van was reliable and never gave us any problems. Would definitely rent from them again if ever in the area.
